Justin Bieber’s famous father-in-law releases eerie video amid Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs scandal

A bizarre social media post from Justin Bieber’s celebrity father-in-law found users buzzing about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest.

Suicide watch and references to Jeffrey Epstein dominated much of the conversation around the indictment of the Hip-Hop mogul arrested on Sept. 16 on charges that included alleged racketeering, sex trafficking, and abuse. Sunday, as a video of Combs boasting about going “full crazy” with then-teen Bieber recirculated, the pop star’s father-in-law Stephen Baldwin released an odd video about the “calm before the storm.”

Adorned with a People magazine hat, the actor said in a TikTok video since viewed nearly 200,000 times, “You have heard the expression, ‘The calm before the storm.’ There is always a calm before the storm, but then so is there another calm after the storm.”

“There’s a calm and then a storm and then another calm, and in that latter calm is the preparation for,” Baldwin said as he entered a lengthy pause before adding, “the next storm.”

Earlier this year following the raid of the Bad Boy Records founder’s properties, a video of a 15-year-old Bieber circulated with the mogul stating, “He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”

“I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album. I don’t have legal guardianship of [Bieber] but for the next 48 hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy,” said Combs.

Similarly cited was a 2004 Rolling Stone interview where Usher said Combs introduced him to “a totally different set of sh*t — sex, specifically.”

“Sex is so hot in the industry, man,” the singer-songwriter continued. “There was always girls around. You’d open a door and see somebody doing it, or several people in a room having an orgy. You never knew what was going to happen.”

In addition to allegations of coercing women with assault and drugs to engage in sex acts with “male commercial sex workers” during gatherings referred to as “Freak Offs,” the indictment claimed Combs’ abuse extended to “others around him” to the extent that “victims typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

Sources reportedly close to Bieber spoke with various outlets attesting to the entertainer’s state following the arrest of the mogul he had collaborated with last year. One source told the Daily Mail that now-30-year-old Bieber “is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off.”

“So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him,” the source added. “Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to.”

Meanwhile, a source told People, “He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations.”

“It’s not anything that he wants to focus on, though,” as the pop star, who celebrated the birth of his first child, Jack Blues, in August, has “been in a happy bubble since baby Jack was born.”

“He just wants to focus on being a great dad and husband,” the source said.

The cryptic post from Baldwin prompted comments like, “He knows. And he’s going to protect his kids,” and “Keep taking care of Justin…I believe you know everything and took Justin under your wing. He will be safe as long as he has you and his wife behind him.”
