Vice President Kamala Harris has been against free speech forever and a clip from 2019 or 2020 highlights it as she calls for Elon Musk to be silenced because she doesn’t like what he has to say.

The clip shows dumbfounded CNN host Jake Tapper looking stunned as Harris calls for Musk’s “privilege” of free speech to be suspended. It has gone viral once again as the vice president seeks to win the presidency this November. Not a good look but it is very, very telling and about as undemocratic and dictatorial as it gets.

Independent RFK Jr. thrashed Harris over her call for censorship, “Kamala Harris: ‘He [Musk] has lost his privileges.’ Can someone please explain to her that freedom of speech is a RIGHT, not a ‘privilege’?”

“Kamala Harris: ‘There has to be a responsibility placed on these social media sites to understand their power.’ Translation: ‘If they don’t police content to conform to government-approved narratives, they will be shut down,'” he correctly concluded.

Musk waded in as well with his own astute observation, “This is what she actually believes. Free speech is the bedrock of democracy and the Democratic Party (Kamala is just a puppet) wants to destroy it.”

Harris’ anti-free speech sentiments go back years and it’s a good bet if somehow she became president she would definitely act on them.

Jay Bhattacharya, a professor at Stanford School of Medicine, also nailed the vice president on X for her totalitarian leanings, “You know, this is among the most authoritarian statements I’ve ever heard come out of the mouth of an American politician. That a platform can reach millions is not a good reason to give the government power to deplatform people and censor speech.”

“That this clip is from 2019 or 2020 does not make it better. It was wrong then. And it is wrong now,” he added.

Yes, we have a “Bill of Rights,” not a “Bill of Privileges.” Privileges are granted by government and can’t be taking away by government. Rights come from god and are secured by the Constitution. Government is legally barred from taking them away.
