In mere minutes, a stunned CNN talking head’s reaction to then-California Sen. Kamala Harris’ positions on the 2020 campaign trail provided possibly the best “refresher” looking ahead at the debate.
A repeated random act of journalism saw CNN’s Erin Burnett appearing surprised over the findings of a “KFile Investigation” on “OutFront” when confronted with a number of voiced positions from the senator in 2019 including supporting American tax dollars going toward voluntary genital mutilation of detained illegal aliens.
“Taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants? She actually said she supported that?” said Burnett cutting into the report from Andrew Kaczynski that found Washington Times op-ed columnist Tim Murtaugh calling it “her whole pitiful ‘campaign’ in one clip.”
It really is impossible to overstate how bad this CNN segment is for Kamala Harris.

“Andrew, that’s pretty incredible on its own, when you talk about what you found here on ICE,” said Burnett about Harris’ favoring cutting funding to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement before asking what else he’d found.
“And this was a questionnaire that she filled out for the ACLU. And this questionnaire is really an interesting snapshot of the time of the 2019 Democratic primary. Kamala Harris was trying to get to the left of [Vermont Sen.] Bernie Sanders. She was trying to get to the left of [Massachusetts Sen.] Elizabeth Warren,” explained Kaczynski. “You really see that in a lot of these answers. And I want to walk our viewers through a little bit of what she said. Let’s just take immigration and look at what she said here. She said on immigration, she made this open-ended pledge to end immigrant detention. She said she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants. She also said she-”
“Taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants? She actually said she supported that?” replied the host as her guest went on, “She wrote, both wrote and answered in the affirmative when she was asked this, and she said she also supported it for federal prisoners.”
“Now, she also pledged to slash immigration detention by 50% and close all family and private facilities, and decrease funding for ICE. And then end ICE detainers with local law enforcement,” Kaczynski added referring to the requests often ignored by leftist local jurisdictions who opt to release arrested illegal aliens charged with crimes instead of turning them over for deportation.
“I mean, these are things that, you know, it would be hard to think that you would come up with,” Burnett appearing unable to believe the Democratic Party nominee had voiced favor for radical leftist policies, “…and yet, as you say, written and verbally.”
After Kaczynski laid out how Harris’ position on decriminalizing all drugs would mean the legalization of things like “fentanyl, crack, you know, cocaine,” the campaign responded to CNN with a statement from an unnamed advisor, “The Vice President’s positions have been shaped by three years of effective governance as part of the Biden-Harris administration.”
Billionaire Democrat turned Trump supporter Bill Ackman advised his followers to view the clip and then watch if Harris changes her position like she has on so many other policy postitions, during tonight’s debate against Donald Trump.
Watch this two minute segment before tonight’s debate for a refresher on @KamalaHarris’s policies on immigration, drug decriminalization, and gender transition for detained migrants. I expect tonight if she is asked, she will walk back these policy positions.

Monday’s review of Harris’ policy positions followed a previous KFile report that found the duo earning praise from former President Donald Trump for pointing out the vice president’s border wall posturing.
During the coverage, Burnett had said, “She’s using his wall that he built to say, ‘Look at what I did’?”
“Thank you to Erin Burnett and CNN,” wrote Trump on Truth Social. “Even they say Comrade Kamala Harris is a Phony!”
Looking ahead to the debate, Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman recommended the clip, “Watch this two minute segment before tonight’s debate for a refresher on @KamalaHarris’s policies on immigration, drug decriminalization, and gender transition for detained migrants. I expect tonight if she is asked, she will walk back these policy positions.”
“I made the mistake of voting for @POTUS Biden because I believed him when he presented as a moderate candidate,” cautioned Ackman. “@KamalaHarris recent policy changes on immigration, the border wall, taxes, et all are simply blatant attempts to pander to the center in order to get elected.”
“Don’t make the mistake I did. Who Kamala is and what she believes have not fundamentally changed. The only thing that has changed is that she is now the presidential nominee and is willing to say whatever she is told to say in order to win,” he added, prompting Elon Musk to share his warning with the caption, “Exactly.”
