Kash Patel’s one-liner response to Dem senator grilling him is pretty epic

Some say that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, just found out that FBI Director Kash Patel doesn’t subscribe to that ideology.

Durbin was grilling Patel about the Trump administration’s official findings regarding the Jeffrey Epstein client list. During his line of questioning, the senator asked why the July 7 memo stating that no such list existed was “unsigned.”

He wasn’t ready for Patel’s response:

“Would you have preferred I use autopen?” the director asked, throwing Durbin off guard.

“Uh, well why was it unsigned?” he senator pressed again.

“The memorandum had the insignia of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and in our effort to secure transparency for the American people, because the three prior administrations had not done so, we conducted an exhaustive search of everything related to the Epstein cases. And we produced what was legally and permissibly able to be produced at Congress to the American public, and when there’s a congressional subpoena, and we continue to do so,” Patel continued.
