Because of a wholly corrupt media, we are forced to play a game of deception in America when it comes to illegal immigration. To hear Democrats tell the tale, the invasion that stopped dead in its tracks when President Trump took office was entirely organic, with many of those arriving fleeing “persecution” and “oppression” in their home countries.
But there is a process when it comes to applying for asylum, and despite coaching from left-wing organizations camped out on the Mexican side of the border, the vast majority of migrants arriving at our border do not qualify. A key factor is that U.S. law generally restricts eligibility for migrants who pass through other countries without seeking protection there.
And that’s where Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) inadvertently undermined his party’s stance while testifying before the Senate Homeland Security Committee, as seen in this exchange:
Extraordinary exchange
MORENO: “Mexico and Canada, do you consider those to be safe countries?”
ELLISON: “Generally I do.”
MORENO: “So then somebody seeking asylum, could certainly be safe in Canada and Mexico, no?”
ELLISON: “Now, so like, if somebody, we we” pic.twitter.com/7RB0ZWuU8I

By admitting that Canada and Mexico are safe countries, Ellison not only exposes migrants who are supposed to stop and seek asylum in the first safe country they come to, but also undermines his own claims about their need for protection.
Fox News analyst Guy Benson summed it up well when he posted, “Ellison suddenly realizes what’s happening and can’t adjust his spin fast enough. They just want illegal immigrants here on US soil.”
In reality, as Elon Musk has screamed from the rooftop for months on end, Democrats are intentionally manipulating U.S. immigration laws to import voters. We all know this to be true, yet are forced to play the game that America is the last hope for the world’s poor and downtrodden.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
We are in a weird purgatory of sorts where we all know they are lying, they know they are lying, their supporters full well know they are lying, the liars know we know they are lying, and we all just kind of are watching them go thru the motions.

Ellison admitting Canada and Mexico are safe basically nukes the asylum argument. If they’re safe there, they’re not refugees here. Simple. President Trump’s right.
