House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is parsing his words very carefully and walking a razor-edged fine line when it comes to calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden.

When McCarthy mentioned the possible impeachment of President Biden on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show Monday, many did not hear the word “inquiry.” The top Republican did indeed say “impeachment inquiry” which is different from actual impeachment proceedings.
Some are claiming that McCarthy clarifying what he said and explaining that an inquiry is an investigation means that he is backing off impeachment of the president. But it appears that the speaker is simply sticking by what he originally said.
McCarthy is an attorney and used to carefully wording what he says. That appears to be what he has done here to protect himself and give cover if he never actually moves to impeach Biden – something that conservatives can already feel happening in certain quarters. Many are not surprised in the least at his vague grandstanding on impeachment.
However, one thing that the very mention of impeachment has done is that it has sent the left into panic mode even more so than usual over the president. There is credible evidence against Biden and his claims seem to be unraveling, revealing unprecedented corruption.

On Thursday, McCarthy dressed down a reporter who asked about his stance on impeachment. His response was condescending and tinged with sarcasm and anger. Not a good look for the speaker.
“Okay, let me first correct you. Were you there when I said that? Okay… What did I say?” he asked the reporter.
“Okay, so you’re claiming that I said we’re going to impeach the president. I floated the idea of impeachment. Okay, so you’re wrong. So if you record, go back and watch. I said impeachment inquiry. There is a big difference,” McCarthy correctly pointed out.
“And let me explain it, because maybe not everybody understands what impeachment inquiry does. When you vote on the floor, it gives you the apex of power of Congress. … I was concerned when asked a question that I haven’t seen an administration act this way at the same time as Nixon did by withholding information. If they do not provide the information we need, then we would go to an impeachment inquiry. Impeachment inquiry… which simply is an investigation and providing Congress the power to do that investigation,” he noted.

“So, I’m glad you asked the question that I could clarify that you misinterpreted and misstated,” McCarthy tersely concluded.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and other Republicans join many Americans in not trusting McCarthy to carry through on impeachment threats.

Making things even worse, Congress goes on a month-long vacation starting Friday. Americans are getting increasingly angry that the Biden family is not being held accountable for corruption. They appear to be tired of investigations and want action instead.
McCarthy backtracked on impeaching Biden last night.
Color me unvexed.
But he says he didn’t change his mind…
WE JUST DIDN’T LISTEN TO HIM PROBABLY!
He said “impeachment inquiry. There is a big difference.”
Of course there is.
Because by now we know that inquiries and…
