Kevin O’Leary reminds CNN panel of the steep cost Dems paid for hand-picking Kamala

Millionaire investor Kevin O’Leary reminded a CNN panel that he had suggested Democrats not just “grant” Vice President Kamala Harris the 2024 nomination.

The “Shark Tank” star shared a clip on social media of his remarks on CNN where he suggested the panelists owed him an apology since he was evidently correct in his recommendation on the election campaign. O’Leary concluded that Democrats are paying the price for choosing to run Harris as their nominee.

“It reminds me of a moment we were together months ago and maybe it’s time for me to ask for an apology,” he said, recounting how he “suggested to everybody here that we should have run a process rather than just grant Kamala Harris her ability to run without a democratic process.”

“She got slaughtered in the election,” he continued.

“You can apologize to me now, thank you,” O’Leary quipped. “I appreciate it.”

CNN host Abby Phillip pushed back at O’Leary’s take but admitted that Democrats “paid the price” for choosing Harris.

“You kept saying that it was unconstitutional when my point was…that the Democrats can run whatever process or lack of process that they want,” she said. “They did what they did. They paid the price for it, but they are entitled to do that.”

“Is that an apology?” O’Leary interjected.

He went on to note that Harris also “took the Democratic brand down 15 points.”

“Next time maybe she can run and see if she can win. I bet you she has no chance of ever having leadership in the Democratic Party again,” he wrote in his caption on X where many agreed with him.
