KJP crumbles under Fox reporter’s grilling about golf merger: ‘We’re going to move on’

The PGA-LIV golf merger was met with shock and dismay by many, but White House spox Karine Jean-Pierre is one of the people not saying much about it at all.

Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich attempted to grill Jean-Pierre about President Joe Biden’s opinion on the merger, but the press secretary wasn’t having it.

After throwing shade at the last administration and trying to play up Biden’s so-called unifying policies, KJP grew frustrated with Heinrich’s questions.

“You said he was briefed on it though, right?” Heinrich asked about the golf merger.

“That does not make the president—of course, he’s going to be briefed on it. He’s the president of the United States. But it does not—” Jean-Pierre stumbled.

“So why can’t you comment on it?” the Fox News reporter pushed further.

“But we’re not going to comment on it because it is a private entity. We’ve been consistent,” the spox said.

“Then why would he be briefed on it?” Heinrich shot back.

“We’ve been consistent. He’s the president of the United States. He gets to know everything that’s going on in the—in the world and in the country—right? That is important for him to know. He is—he is one of the leaders of the free world,” KJP responded, clearly growing more impatient with the line of questioning.

“Is it typical to get briefed on private—” Heinrich attempted to ask before being cut off.

“I’ve answered your question. We’re going to move on.”

This lack of meaningful response frustrated Twitter users:
