Former President Donald J. Trump’s legal troubles at the hands of politicized prosecutors have been the fulfillment of the ultimate revenge fantasy for many leftists but some won’t be happy until the 2024 GOP frontrunner draws his last living breath while locked up in the bowels of a federal dungeon.
Sirius/XM host and MSNBC regular Dean Obeidallah insisted that it is absolutely necessary for Trump to die behind bars if “democracy” is to be saved, a word that no longer bears any resemblance to traditional liberal principles and has perverted as a cloak for the authoritarianism of the Democratic party which in many ways, has become even more totalitarian than Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
The rabid left-winger welcomed Mediaite writer Tommy Christopher on Friday’s edition of “The Dean Obeidallah Show” where he falsely claimed that the January 6, 2021 ruckus at the U.S. Capitol was a legitimate coup d’etat that had a serious chance of overthrowing the entire government and called for Trump to be given what amounts to a death sentence when he is inevitably convicted by a D.C. jury that hates his guts.

Asked about whether Joe Biden should be making his case for reflection by asking, “Do you really want to vote for a guy who might die in prison?” Obeidallah responded with his sick remarks about Trump.
“No, I think Donald Trump I think Donald Trump MUST die in prison because I don’t care if he was 45 years old. You should get life in prison if you attempt a coup, and there should be no chance of parole. I don’t care who it is,” he said.
“That’s why I think Donald Trump or anyone else in terms of who must die in jail, because either we’re going to protect the Democratic Republic or we’re going to allow people in this case, Trump to chip away at our democracy and chip away at what we believe in these institutions,” Obeidallah continued. “That’s why I’m so passionate about, like with every fiber of my being, that Donald Trump has to live out his natural days, his last days of natural life in a prison cell.”
Obeidallah doubled down on his death wish for the former president in a Saturday post to X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Trump at his rally last night looked very ill. I despise Trump BUT I do NOT want him to die UNTIL he is tried, convicted and sentenced to prison. Trump must die in prison as a warning to all who attempt a coup that you will face same fate. That’s Only way to protect our Republic,” he wrote, leaving out the term “democracy” this time in favor of Republic, another term likely set to be bastardized by the left.

“And people accuse me like, oh, you say things that get people riled up like, nope, I or get what you said. I get organically riled up about this because I believe in this system,” he added, defending a system that has morphed into one more reminiscent of Stalin’s old Soviet Union than that of a free country. “And, and if you don’t believe in it, so be it. But if you believe in it, I don’t think there’s any conclusion could bring that. Donald Trump has to end up in a prison cell and live his last days out in that prison cell.”
No matter what happens to Trump at the hands of the weaponized judicial system, he will go down in history for having successfully smoked out the fascists who had long been successful in hiding.
