Leftists lose it when UFC champ doubles down after spat with ‘weak’ Canadian reporter, is cheered wildly

If there was any thought that UFC champ Sean Strickland would be ‘canceled’ over his controversial comments at a press conference, the audience roar of approval when he doubled down should put that to rest.

After sparring with a reporter over past comments he’d made about the LGBTQ community, Strickland made it clear he was standing by his views and vowed to continue his fight for free speech.

“When have you ever seen a UFC champion…stick up for you f–king guys?” the 32-year-old mixed martial artist asked the crowd.

“I f–king do it. I do it,” he said, as the audience roared its approval.

“I am not chasing the Chinese checkmark of Nike. I don’t give a f–k about that,” he continued. “I care about you guys.  I care about you guys being free. I care about you guys having freedom of speech!”

“I give a f–k about you guys and I’ll tell you what, you guys are f–king awesome,” the UFC Middleweight champion shouted amid the roar of the crowd.

His rousing speech came on the heels of his exchange with a reporter whom he called out as a “f–king coward.”

“Well then you’re a weak f—ing man,” Strickland said. “You’re part of the f—ing problem. You elected Justin Trudeau. When he seized the bank accounts, like you’re just f—ing pathetic. The fact that you have no f—ing backbone and as he shutdown your f—ing country and seized bank accounts, you ask me some stupid s— like that. Go f— yourself. Move the f— on man. F—ing coward.”

His further comments triggered leftists who wanted to see retractions and consequences.

Podcaster Mike Ryan Ruiz issued a “challenge” while on “The Dan Le Batard Show” to ESPN “because that kind of hate is going over their airwaves.”

“Are you chicken sh-t that you allow this with impunity?” he demanded. “This is revolting.”

“If your initial reaction is to defend Sean Strickland after that disgusting display of hate, you REALLY need to evaluate how it is you got here,” he wrote in a post on X.

Steve Schmidt, founder of anti-Trump The Lincoln Project, declared that Strickland “represents the face of MAGA.”

But Strickland’s sentiments resonated with many on social media who told the whiners what they could do with their complaints.
