Leftists melt down after Trump shares commie Kamala meme

Former President Trump triggered the left as only he can when he posted a meme showing a fake photo of Vice President Kamala Harris.

The image, posted on social media ahead of the kickoff of the Democratic National Convention, showed Harris addressing a communist event in Chicago. Though captions did not accompany the post on Truth Social and X, it follows Trump repeatedly referring to the Democrat nominee as “Comrade Kamala.”

“After causing catastrophic inflation, Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls,” Trump said during a rally in Pennsylvania last weekend.

The Republican presidential nominee has targeted Harris on her radical economic agenda which she unveiled last week, promising to enact the “first-ever federal ban” on price-gouging, among other things.

“In her speech yesterday, Kamala went full communist,” Trump said at the arena in Wilkes-Barre. “Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls. You saw that never worked before … it will cause rationing, hunger, and skyrocketing prices.”

As the DNC was set to kick off Monday, Trump delivered alternate programming with a rally of his own in York, Pennsylvania where he hammered home the economic message. He accused Harris of pushing “communist” policies and even took aim at her father, an economist at Stanford.

“Her father is a Marxist professor, and I believe he taught her well, you know, he’s a Marxist professor. Can you imagine? Does anyone know that?” Trump said. “I wonder if they knew that when they did an overthrow or a coup on Joe Biden, I wonder if they knew where she comes from, where she came from, what her ideology is. But you could see it a little bit by this whack job.”

Social media critics fired back at Trump for his fake post of Harris addressing the communist event.

But the former president found plenty of X users who understood the message loud and clear.
