Leftists stage mock reenactment of iconic Iwo Jima photo using state’s new Somali-inspired flag

A group of Minnesota leftists sparked anger and mockery over their staged reenactment of the raising of the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima, one of the most iconic photos in the nation’s history.

The Battle of Iwo Jima was a pivotal World War II confrontation between American troops and the entrenched Imperial Japanese forces that took place on the small, strategically located island in the Pacific Ocean, one of the bloodiest battles of the entire war.

Only this time, instead of six U.S. Marines hoisting Old Glory atop the carnage on Mount Suribachi, it was a handful of spiteful mutant losers spitting on the memory of those brave heroes who sacrificed their lives so that they would be free to defile their memory, and using the state’s new Somali-inspired flag to boot.

The stunt was as insulting as it was pathetic and appears to be the idea of Anton Treuer, a professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University, another of the left-wing lunatics poisoning the minds of the young on the nation’s campuses.

X users reacted to the obscene re-enactment with rage and ridicule.

The longtime flag in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” was officially retired in May 2024 and replaced with the new one that bears an astonishing resemblance to that of Somalia, with refugees from the East African hellhole first being imported to the state, where they have refused to assimilate while becoming a powerful voting bloc absolutely loyal to the Democratic Party.

Minnesota has become the Democrats’ bastion of resistance against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its ability to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.

It is also, in the words of President Donald J. Trump, a “hub of fraudulent money laundering activity” where members of the Somali community in Minneapolis have swindled taxpayers out of billions of dollars through charities and fake businesses, including purported daycare centers.

The hijacking of the iconic Iwo Jima picture once again shows that nothing is sacred to the anti-American left.
