Left’s latest ‘weird’ attack on JD Vance falls flat: ‘Have you people never gone to high school?’

In what may be a sign of desperation, the left is pouncing on a decades-old photo of Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) goofing around in high school to further a… well, weird campaign to paint Donald Trump’s running mate as being “weird.”

Ron Filipkowski, a left-wing sock puppet propagandist all too eager to regurgitate talking points from The Machine™, shared the photo featured in a Daily Mail article, along with the unoriginal remark, “This dude is so damn weird and creepy.”

According to the tabloid, Vance is posing with three female classmates in a boys’ restroom during his senior year of high school in Ohio.

“In the photograph, Vance, then 18, is seen in a men’s bathroom looking on as three girls pretend to use the urinals. The picture appeared in the 2003 yearbook of Middletown High School in Ohio when Vance – then known as JD Hamel – was in his senior year,” the Daily Mail reported.

Then again, maybe Ohio was decades ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to males seeking to identify as female.

Either way, if every goofy photo someone took while in high school is fair game, our politics may never be the same.

It’s safe to say that the effort to exploit the photo for political gain was a bust, given the responses seen online… here’s a sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
