‘Legitimately filth’: Variety lambasted for politicizing the death of legendary actor Chuck Norris

As America paid tribute to legendary actor Chuck Norris, some are practically dancing on his grave, a despicable ritual every time that a conservative icon passes away.

The 86-year-old action star who parlayed his martial arts prowess into a decades-long career in movies and television died after being hospitalized due to a medical emergency in Hawaii. His family announced his passing in a Friday post to Instagram.

“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” Norris’ family said.

“He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives,” the post read.

But instead of even pretending to show a smidgen of simple respect to the beloved Norris, the ghouls at Variety just had to make it all about politics, as leftists have done to everything in America, saturating the nation with their poisonous obsession.

“Chuck Norris Was a Great Action Star — but Politics May Overshadow His Legacy,” the celebrity gossip and entertainment news outlet wrote in the headline to its story on the “Walker, Texas Ranger” star’s passing.

While much of the Variety piece acknowledges Norris’s “incredibly badass” influence during his “indelible run of late-’70s and ’80s movies” and the “all-American loner” archetype, it soon devolves into the typical leftist sermonizing.

“Was Norris a brilliant athlete and top-shelf star? Yes. But there’s no denying that his roles were part of a body of work used to show American strength, might and the pernicious attraction of taking the law into one’s own hands — something that seems less fun in a year in which our country is funneling money into bombing Iran and ICE agents are acting like one-man militias,” according to Variety.

X users came down on the outlet with a righteous fury that Norris’ badass characters could appreciate.

Variety quotes one of Norris’ iconic on-screen characters before he dispatches a bad guy: “You’re nothing but a chickensh*t weasel who thrives on the misery of others. And when death calls, you’ll be screaming like a baby.”

“Chickensh*t weasel” would be an appropriate label for every leftist who gets off on kicking a dead man who can no longer fight back. They are truly the scum of the earth.
