Mark Levin is going off again, this time dragging Vice President JD Vance into his ongoing war with former colleague Tucker Carlson in an angry reaction to a story quoting unnamed “White House insiders” critical of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Israeli leader visited Washington, D.C. on Monday, sitting down with President Donald J. Trump to negotiate a plan to end the war in Gaza, a conflict that began as a response to the Hamas terror organization’s cowardly sneak attack on civilian areas on October 7, 2023, that has dragged on for nearly two years.
According to an Axios report, anonymous White House insiders vented about Netanyahu’s “bizarre obsession” with the so-called “woke right,” a concocted smear of conservative influencers and voices who fight fire with fire and generally are unsupportive of the forever wars championed by neocons and liberal interventionists.
“Everyone — and I mean everyone — is exasperated with Bibi,” an official said, according to Mediaite, which reported on the Axios piece, which was behind a paywall. The left-leaning outlet added that the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and White House envoy Steve Witkoff “both are at their wits’ end with Israel.”
Carlson has been increasingly critical of Netanyahu and his government, drawing accusations of anti-Semitism from the Israeli prime minister, who met with US social media influencers during his visit to the United Nations last week while railing against “the woke right — or the woke Reich” who he said “they are insane, they are lunatics.”
“Stop talking about Tucker. Stop getting influencers here to be your propaganda. It’s not helping you. It’s not helping Israel. And it damn sure isn’t helping us get a peace deal,” the insider reportedly said.
“We can’t figure out what the guy is up to. Focus on Israel. Focus on Gaza. Stop getting involved in U.S. domestic political issues,” an unnamed official is quoted.
The piece triggered the volatile Fox News host and bestselling author, who, in a Monday post to X, asked, “Who are these ‘White House insiders’ trashing Israel and Netanyahu all day today?”

What’s this “White House insiders?” Shows up in Mediaite. In Axios earlier. Now Tucker mentioned. Tucker central is the VP’s office. They despise Netanyahu. I truly hope it’s not them. But it’s…

“What’s this ‘White House insiders?’ Shows up in Mediaite. In Axios earlier. Now Tucker mentioned. Tucker Central is the VP’s office. They despise Netanyahu. I truly hope it’s not them. But it’s clearly someone. So who is it? They’re undermining the president. They’re pushing a propaganda campaign. Not a word from the insiders about a single terrorist group or terrorist country. Just Israel and Netanyahu. This is a scandal,” Levin fumed, conspiratorially suggesting that the insiders are inside Vance’s office but offering no proof.
Levin’s feud with Carlson boiled over before Trump ordered the successful strikes on Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities in June, nicknaming him “Chatsworth Qatarlson” and accusing him of being on the payroll of the Qatari government.
Carlson responded to Netanyahu’s UN remarks by declaring, “It’s time for Bibi to go.”

Over the weekend, Carlson claimed that Netanyahu “is going around telling people: ‘I control Donald Trump,'” according to Axios. The prime minister denied the allegation during a Sunday Fox News appearance.
Despite Levin’s conspiratorial raving, Trump and Netanyahu agreed on the proposal to bring an end to the carnage in Gaza after the White House released the president’s 20-point peace plan on Monday, putting the ball in Hamas’ court.

“If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed-upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal,” the plan reads, according to Fox News.
“If Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President, or if they supposedly accept it and then do everything to counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself,” Netanyahu said after his meeting with Trump, AP reported. “This can be done the easy way or it can be done the hard way, but it will be done.”
