Liberal woman describes dilemma of trying to make friends in Florida and it’s HILARIOUS

A newly transplanted liberal in Florida described being triggered by patriotism as she tried to make new friends.

The young woman in the video with thousands of views described the difficulty she has had in making new friends since moving to St. Petersburg, a city on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

While she admits she loves the weather and St. Pete is “beautiful,” the woman soon shares her dilemma.

“However, it has been hard to make friends which is natural as an adult,” she said. “It’s really difficult. I work from home, I live alone.”

She explained how she downloaded the Meetup social media app and went to an event where she “met a lot of cool people” and exchanged numbers with others. One other “super cute, fun” woman then invited her to watch a UFC fight at a sports bar.

Certainly, all her liberal followers must have gasped at this moment as she made it quite clear that “you don’t need to know me to know that’s not really my scene.”

“I start thinking, you know, Hemingway liked to fight. Maybe, some of these people are also really into classic literature,” she said, adding “that was really sweet of me to think.”

She soon concluded that it basically “looked like a frat party” but the worst was yet to come for her as she shared that conversations with the girls she met up with were “leaning conservative.”

The breakdown began, however, as the “entire sports bar” erupted into chants of “USA! USA!” when former President Donald Trump showed up on the television screens as he had attended the fight.

She described herself “floating above my body” at that moment, “watching from above going how the f— did this happen?'”

“Trying to stay calm. Trying to act normal,” she said. “I called an Uber almost immediately. I almost started crying in the bar.”

Her storytelling garnered sympathy from her like-minded liberals on social media but the young woman found mostly mockery over her dramatics.
