Libs delight in hoax clip of ‘Mike Pence’ getting hit with water balloon: ‘So much about this video is incredible’

The same left-wingers who complain about alleged right-wing cruelty and misinformation/disinformation have once again demonstrated that they’re full of it.

How? By cheering in glee over what’s since been confirmed to be a “fake” video of former Vice President Mike Pence being pummeled with a water balloon.

Watch the video below, and note the gleeful reaction:

Published on Friday, the video by Saturday had over 67,000 likes from leftists pleased beyond belief that the guy who they thought was Pence was assaulted.

“[S]o much about this video is incredible. not just the absolute laser shot, but her smirk afterward, the casual toss of the other water balloon, the random dude on the right being like ‘uhhh we just gonna let this happen?’ just A+ content here,” one particularly ecstatic leftist tweeted.

One particularly nasty leftist tried to shame conservatives for being upset about the video.

“Magats on here are in an uproar over a little girl throwing a water balloon, but not a peep from them when children get slaughtered in their schools from gun violence,” the leftist tweeted.

Conservatives pushed back on her libelous rhetoric by pointing out that conservatives do in fact care about children being slaughtered but simply have different solutions in mind to rectify it.

Others meanwhile made the case that had a Democrat — famous or not — been hit with a water balloon by a conservative, all hell would have broken loose.

The most remarkable thing about all this is that the video isn’t even real, in the sense that the guy seen in it wasn’t Pence.

“[I]t’s not Mike Pence in the video. It was Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman who took a well-tossed water balloon to the back of his cranium during a Fourth of July parade in Stewart Manor, NY,” The Indianapolis Star has confirmed.

Indeed, the video was originally posted on Facebook by Blakeman himself earlier this month.

“The water balloons and soaker guns are a long tradition at the Stewart Manor parade. Please do not be offended. All those who march including me, do so at their peril and are fair game. I had fun even if I got a little wet!” he wrote in the post.

And so this means that the narrative that Pence was pummeled by a water balloon is misinformation/disinformation. And not surprisingly, this particular misinformation and disinformation originated on the LEFT, not the right!
