Leftists pitched a fit after President Donald J. Trump lowered the boom on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, blasting the female version of Jim Acosta after she tried to change the subject to Jeffrey Epstein during a White House bill signing to prevent a prolonged government shutdown.
On Tuesday, the president signed off on a package of funding bills that ended the brief partial shutdown, a win for Americans who were forced to suffer through the “Schumer shutdown” last November, but the occasion turned testy when Collins went off topic to blurt out her question about the massive tranche of documents relating to the dead pedophile.

Even though the 3 million documents didn’t include the “smoking gun” about Trump and Epstein that Democrats and their media partners have hyped for months, that hasn’t deterred the likes of Collins from trying to manufacture a scandal, but sometimes when you poke the bear, the bear bites back.
“You are the worst reporter,” Trump responded,” No wonder. CNN has no ratings because of people like you.”
“You know, she’s a young woman. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile. I’ve known you for ten years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face,” the president added.
“You know why you’re not smiling?” Trump then asked. “Because you know you’re not telling the truth, and you’re a very dishonest organization, and they should be ashamed of you.”
It was just the latest in a series of testy exchanges between the president and the star primetime anchor for the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news,” going back to when he made a mockery out of Collins during a 2023 CNN town hall in New Hampshire, sparking an internal mutiny that would cost CEO Chris Licht his job.
The Oval Office smackdown had leftists squealing like Trump had b*tch smacked them instead of Collins.
