Lifeless woman paraded naked by Hamas is German citizen in Israel attending music festival for peace

In an “act of pure evil,” a woman seen carted around by Hamas terrorists attacking Israel was confirmed as not a soldier, but a German tourist attending a “Festival for Peace.”

A sudden attack that bombarded Israel with an estimated 5,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip, including militants paragliding across the border and terrorists going door-to-door attacking innocent civilians Saturday morning has left the American ally declaring war.

With harrowing images of death and destruction circulating and countless families uncertain of the whereabouts of their loved ones as around 300 were reported dead by CNN, hundreds injured, and dozens had been kidnapped, the family of a woman facedown in the back of a pickup truck had been able to positively identify her as her status remained unknown.

Taking to X, conservative public figure Robby Starbuck shared the unsettling video of 30-year-old Shani Louk, stripped to her underwear, legs unnaturally contorted, straddled by a militant with an RPG as he and his fellow terrorists chanted “Allahu Akbar.”

“Her name is Shani Louk. Only 30 years old. She was German, not even Israeli,” wrote Starbuck. “She was near Gaza to attend a music ‘Festival for Peace’ when Hamas terrorists did this to her. She’s likely dead. Peace with terrorists isn’t possible. They must be crushed.”

CNN went on to report that she was German-Israeli dual national and described the event that she had been attending as the “Nova Festival, an all night dance party celebrating the Israeli harvest festival Sukkot near Re’im, Israel.”

Iranian-American human rights advocate Sarah Raviani shared an image pulled from the woman’s Instagram account and included a quote attributed to Louk that read, “Life is a blessing.”

Raviani went on to write, “Shani was a vibrant, adventurous 30-year-old woman from Germany. She attended the peace music festival near the Gaza border and was brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists. Her lifeless body was paraded in the back of a vehicle in Gaza.”

“One glance at her Instagram reveals that she was full of life, love, and happiness. Shani had her whole life ahead of her, but she was murdered in cold blood by radical terrorists. This is an act of pure evil, and those responsible for taking the lives of innocent civilians in Israel must be held accountable,” the advocate said before concluding, “Rest in Peace, Shani.”

The Washington Post managed to get in touch with the family and spoke with the woman’s first cousin Tom Weintraub Louk who explained they had been unable to reach her or her Mexican boyfriend. “We knew she was in the party. She didn’t answer.”

“We recognized her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks,” the Post was told.

“We have some kind of hope,” a family member added before unequivocally stating, “Hamas is responsible for her and the others.”

Meanwhile, a video of Louk’s mother Ricarda, said to have been obtained by the German news outlet Bild, featured her imploring the public for “any help or any news,” regarding her daughter.

“This morning my daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, a German citizen, was kidnapped with a group of tourists in southern Israel by Palestinian Hamas. We were sent a video in which I could clearly see our daughter unconscious in the car with the Palestinians and them driving around the Gaza Strip. I ask you to send us any help or any news. Thank you very much,” a translation of her remarks read.

Louk’s remained just one of a bevy of cases of innocents caught up in the attacks that led Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare, “We are in a war, not an operation, in a war,” while the State of Israel posted in part, “Armed Hamas terrorists are patrolling the streets and trying to slaughter innocent Israeli civilians who have barricaded themselves into their homes.”
