A top surrogate for presidential candidate Kamala Harris has been outed as someone who wants to “reimagine” the U.S. Constitution.
Kelley Robinson, the president of the far-left Human Rights Campaign (HRC), revealed this troubling aspect about herself during the first day of the Democrat National Convention last week in a moment that originally went under the radar up until now.
Speaking at a DNC event about “how defeating Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda rests on the engagement of the LGBTQ+ community,” Robinson let the cat out of the bag.
Listen:
Human rights campaign @HRC president says quiet part out loud:
“We can’t just worry about protecting democracy… we have to reimagine it”
“More revolutionary than what our founders put down on that little piece of paper”
Little piece of paper??
You mean the Constitution? pic.twitter.com/kV8ooIqMza

“We can’t just worry about protecting democracy,” she began. “In this moment, we’ve got to reimagine it with people that look and love like us at the center.”
“And I think for us right now it’s about imagining freedom and this American story in a way that is more revolutionary than what our founders actually put down on that little piece of paper but instead is the type of democracy that is by and for all of the people of this country. That’s the opportunity that we have,” she added.
FYI, American democracy as outlined in the U.S. Constitution is ALREADY “by and for all of the people of this country.”
Robinson’s remarks and disdain for the “little piece of paper” that is the U.S. Constitution has generated massive backlash.
Look at some of the backlash below:
People like this need to go find a country that suits their interests more (China) and stop trying to change America

Little piece of paper?? Omg you piece of crap person. Outside of the Bible, that’s the biggest piece of important paper. They gave up their lives to sign that piece of paper ma’am

THIS is what an ignorant person looks like.
She has zero respect for what the Founders did for this country and gave their lives.
Go to another country and tell us in a year about that little “piece of paper”.

Ratified 235 years ago, the “little piece of paper” has served to make the USA the most free country in the history of the world.
BTW the brilliant document set up a Constitutional Republic, not a pure democracy.

That “little piece of paper” affirms that all men are created equal and our rights are inalienable. It’s quite elegant in its simplicity. Govt politicians and bureaucrats are responsible for mucking things up by overstepping THEIR authority. We don’t have to reimagine jack.

Robinson is a gay woman who’s notoriously pro-LGBT and pro-trans, to the point that she basically doesn’t acknowledge the physical differences between biological men and biological women.
Case in point:
Dem witness: “There’s been this news article about men that think they can beat Serena Williams in tennis. And it’s just not the case. She is stronger than them.” @Riley_Gaines_: “Both Serena and Venus lost to the 203rd ranked male tennis player.” pic.twitter.com/MSAnV6IA5t

She’s also an avid Harris supporter.
“The story of America is the story of progress towards freedom,” she said while on stage at the DNC last week. “In just a few generations, my family went from being enslaved in Mississippi to the first free black family in Muscatine, Iowa, to now preparing to elect President Kamala Harris.”
“Progress is happening, my friends! Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, they are champions for LGBTQ+ freedom, ya’ll!” she added.
Under her leadership, the Human Rights Campaign last year declared a “National State of Emergency for LGBTQ+ Americans” in response to pro-women’s rights legislation being passed in red states.
“LGBTQ+ Americans are living in a state of emergency,” Robinson said at the time. “The multiplying threats facing millions in our community are not just perceived – they are real, tangible, and dangerous.”
“In many cases, they are resulting in violence against LGBTQ+ people, forcing families to uproot their lives and flee their homes in search of safer states, and triggering a tidal wave of increased homophobia and transphobia that puts the safety of each and every one of us at risk,” she added.
