‘Little piece of paper’: Top Kamala surrogate says America needs to ‘reimagine’ U.S. Constitution

A top surrogate for presidential candidate Kamala Harris has been outed as someone who wants to “reimagine” the U.S. Constitution.

Kelley Robinson, the president of the far-left Human Rights Campaign (HRC), revealed this troubling aspect about herself during the first day of the Democrat National Convention last week in a moment that originally went under the radar up until now.

Speaking at a DNC event about “how defeating Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda rests on the engagement of the LGBTQ+ community,” Robinson let the cat out of the bag.

Listen:

“We can’t just worry about protecting democracy,” she began. “In this moment, we’ve got to reimagine it with people that look and love like us at the center.”

“And I think for us right now it’s about imagining freedom and this American story in a way that is more revolutionary than what our founders actually put down on that little piece of paper but instead is the type of democracy that is by and for all of the people of this country. That’s the opportunity that we have,” she added.

FYI, American democracy as outlined in the U.S. Constitution is ALREADY “by and for all of the people of this country.”

Robinson’s remarks and disdain for the “little piece of paper” that is the U.S. Constitution has generated massive backlash.

Look at some of the backlash below:

Robinson is a gay woman who’s notoriously pro-LGBT and pro-trans, to the point that she basically doesn’t acknowledge the physical differences between biological men and biological women.

Case in point:

She’s also an avid Harris supporter.

“The story of America is the story of progress towards freedom,” she said while on stage at the DNC last week. “In just a few generations, my family went from being enslaved in Mississippi to the first free black family in Muscatine, Iowa, to now preparing to elect President Kamala Harris.”

“Progress is happening, my friends! Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, they are champions for LGBTQ+ freedom, ya’ll!” she added.

Under her leadership, the Human Rights Campaign last year declared a “National State of Emergency for LGBTQ+ Americans” in response to pro-women’s rights legislation being passed in red states.

“LGBTQ+ Americans are living in a state of emergency,” Robinson said at the time. “The multiplying threats facing millions in our community are not just perceived – they are real, tangible, and dangerous.”

“In many cases, they are resulting in violence against LGBTQ+ people, forcing families to uproot their lives and flee their homes in search of safer states, and triggering a tidal wave of increased homophobia and transphobia that puts the safety of each and every one of us at risk,” she added.
