Lizzo’s voluminous VMA red carpet attire opens up meme-a-palooza

When there are no limits to gluttonous societal excess and one’s vanity, warranted or not, the outcome can prove to be quite entertaining sometimes.

Singer/rapper Lizzo, aka, Melissa Viviane Jefferson, arrived on the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet Sunday in a voluminous outfit that contained all her girth and then some. If getting attention was the goal, which it surely was, Lizzo scored a 10 out of 10.

Yet, as ridiculous as she looked, her antics were celebrated by VMA as “bringing out the FAB-U-LOUS.”

And given today’s standards, it will be celebrated…

Of course, rational Americans long ago tuned out on the various award shows that have become little more than national platforms for fabulously wealthy liberal elites to espouse their left-wing political views and condemn those who might hold a different view.

And with Lizzo, the excess was every bit as bad as one might expect as the rich entertainer whined about being oppressed while accepting the Video for Good award — you can’t make these things up.

“I don’t know what ‘Video for Good’ means, but I do know what your vote means, and that’s a f*cking lot,” Lizzo said during her speech. “Your vote means everything to me. It means everything to making a change in this country. So remember when you’re voting for your favorite artist, vote to change some of these laws that are oppressing us.”

The only difference being that in the year 2022, oppression comes with far better accouterments.

Yet, for all her fame and fortune, Lizzo comes up empty when it comes to class — which is not to say that this is breaking news.

Offering a message for “the b*tches in the press,” the singer said, “They be like, Lizzo, why don’t you clap back? Why don’t you clap back? Because this is winning, ho! This is winning, ho!!!”

There was some skepticism about the oppression claim, as seen here:

On a more positive note, Lizzo created a target-rich environment for memes, as seen here:
