Now that the unprecedented indictment of a former United States president appears to be imminent with Donald J. Trump about to be charged by a New York City grand jury, the driving force behind the fascistic political power play has crossed the line, at least in the opinion of Senator Rand Paul who called for the jailing of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
On Tuesday, the rumored indictment and arrest of the 2024 GOP frontrunner didn’t go down as had been predicted by some – including Trump himself – but it may be only a brief hiccup in the process of the legal railroading of the nation’s 45th president which is moving along at a rapid pace, putting the country on course for uncharted waters as a result of Bragg’s assault on our democracy, not the phony version that Democrats and their lackeys constantly pontificate about, but the real thing.
The Kentucky Republican took to Twitter on Tuesday to blast the George Soros-backed Bragg and his flagrant abuse of power in his pursuit of Trump over a “hush money” payment to stripper and pornographic movie “actress” Stormy Daniels over an alleged affair with the then-billionaire businessman long before he entered politics, a trumped-up misdemeanor charge in a case that has been resurrected to do what the defunct January 6 committee couldn’t, torpedo Trump’s political career and prevent him from returning to the White House.
“A Trump indictment would be a disgusting abuse of power. The DA should be put in jail,” Senator Paul wrote, strongly suggesting that Bragg should be the one doing a perp walk.

Paul’s fellow GOP lawmakers may not be as eager to size up Gotham’s top law enforcement official for a pair of handcuffs although the likelihood that he could be compelled to testify before Congress is a growing possibility with Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) gearing up to probe whether Bragg’s witch hunt is being buoyed by federal money.
“Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump,” the Republican leader tweeted over the weekend. “I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.”

It has been reported that House Republicans led by Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) may soon be “firing off letters summoning employees of the Manhattan DA’s office for sworn testimony,” and that McCarthy is “fully supportive and pushing folks to be aggressive here.”
Chairman Jordan took to Twitter on Monday to lash out at Bragg over his spearheading of the Democrats’ vindictive prosecution of Trump after the case which was seemingly dead in the water was “magically revived and somehow strong enough to prosecute Trump,” adding that it is “All politics.”

The target of Bragg’s malicious prosecution flipped the script, calling for the investigators to themselves be investigated for election interference.
“There was no ‘misdemeanor’ here either. There was no crime, period. All other of the many Democrat law enforcement officers that looked at it, took a pass. So did Cy Vance, and so did Bragg. But then, much latter, he changed his mind. Gee, I wonder why? Prosecutorial Misconduct and Interference with an Election. Investigate the Investigators!” Trump wrote on social media on Sunday.

On Tuesday, the embattled presidential candidate also called for any congressional investigations to also include New York Attorney General Letitia “Peekaboo” James, another top legal official who has waged a vendetta against him.
“While Congress is at it, they should look at the Corrupt Attorney General of New York State, Letitia James, who got elected solely on a ‘I WILL GET TRUMP’ platform, without knowing anything about me. She then brought a completely bogus lawsuit, which is presided over by an A.G. picked, Trump hating Judge, a political hack whose Court this case should not be in…,” Trump said.

Whether the indictment (s) come down on Wednesday remains to be seen, but according to a Daily Mail report, Trump won’t be arraigned until at least next week.
“There will be no arraignment this week,” a source familiar with the proceedings told the outlet.
