MAGA boos Lindsey Graham off the stage at Trump rally in South Carolina

Former President Donald J. Trump drew tens of thousands of adoring fans to his rally in Pickens, South Carolina on Saturday where they enthusiastically cheered his rousing speech but they didn’t feel the same about one of their own, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) who was loudly and repeatedly booed by the crowd.

Trump who is facing at least one trial on charges brought against him by the Biden regime’s weaponized Justice Department drew an estimated 50,000 to the small upstate city’s Fourth of July celebration in broiling hot temperatures, showing why he’s the odds-on favorite to win the GOP nomination next year.

Graham, an ally of Trump’s who is deeply unpopular with America first elements of his party’s base, mainly for his rabid warmongering, was showered with disapproval from his own state’s conservative voters as he took the stage to deliver his own remarks.

“Just calm down for a second,” Graham told the crowd as the booing drowned out his remarks early in his speech.

“Let me tell you how you win an election, folks,” he said. “You get people together that don’t agree all of the time to agree on the most important things.”

Later, when Trump referred to Graham during his own speech, the booing and jeering began anew as the embattled former president credited the senator for helping him to get some liberal votes without being specific.

“My hope is we can bring this party together ’cause he’s gonna be our nominee,” Graham told the crowd. “He will be the nominee of the Republican Party, and let me tell you what’s at stake. If they win in 2024, they’re gonna pack the Supreme Court. So we need to get off our butts and make sure Donald Trump wins. If they win in 2024 … Puerto Rico and D.C. will be states. Four Democrats for the rest of our lifetime. They’ll abolish the electoral college, they will turn this nation upside down.”

“There’s one person running for president as a Republican that has the ability to change this country. It is Donald J. Trump. He did it once, he can do it again,” he said. “I’m gonna help him all over this country, and folks, I am from South Carolina. He is gonna win South Carolina. This is the pathway to the presidency. God bless you all. God bless President Trump. God bless America.”
