The response from Gotham’s Islamunist mayor to protests outside his residence spoke volumes as he decried a “white supremacist” but remained mum on the motivations of bomb-throwers allegedly shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

Saturday in New York City, less than a dozen had assembled for a protest on the Upper East Side against the supposed “Islamic Takeover” of the Big Apple, drawing some six times as many counterprotestors, according to the police.
After two among the rival group were arrested facing a terrorism investigation by the FBI for allegedly wielding improvised explosive devices (IEDs), New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) downplayed the seeming Islamic extremist as mere “violence,” offering no details about the suspected perpetrators while calling out the original protest leader by name to accuse him of being a “white supremacist … rooted in bigotry and racism.”
“Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are,” said Hizzoner.
Mamdani, who had embraced Imam Siraj Wahhaj on the campaign trail, an unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, continued, “What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are.”

While the statement thanked police and assured the public administration “is closely monitoring the situation,” the mayor made no mention of the identities of the alleged bombers, 18-year-old Emir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Kayumi of Pennsylvania, nor of the apparent Islamist motivations as video allegedly of Balat captured him hurling a device while shouting “Allahu Akbar,” translated as “Allah is greatest.”
New York Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch detailed that three devices were collected at the scene. “The NYPD Bomb Squad has conducted a preliminary analysis of a device that was ignited and deployed at a protest yesterday and has determined that it is not a hoax device or a smoke bomb. It is, in fact, an improvised explosive device that could have caused serious injury or death.”
Naming the arrestees, Tisch added, “The NYPD is working on this investigation with our partners at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the FBI through our Joint Terrorism Task Force,” while the FBI confirmed tests were “ongoing for other devices.”
She also said at a press conference that the explosive contained bolts, nuts, and screws.

The tepid response to “violence” on the streets of New York came only hours after Mamdani had addressed concerns that his wife, Rama Duwaji, had reportedly liked posts celebrating the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack on Israel by Hamas.
“My wife is the love of my life, and she’s also a private person who has held no formal position on my campaign or in my city hall,” the mayor said before expressing his stance that it remained his “responsibility” to answer questions about “his” views.
Where it concerns religion, the reputation of the leftist politician, dubbed an Islamunist (Islamist communist), has only appeared to worsen since taking office. In particular, he was called out for repeatedly snubbing the Catholic community, comprising roughly a third of New Yorkers, including his failure to attend the installation of Bishop Ronald Hicks as the new archbishop of the New York Archdiocese — a move that broke nearly a century of tradition.
Reactions to Mamdani’s post called out the selective nature of the details included, asserting they confirm “everything we need to know about you and your uselessness.”
The fact that you opened your statement here referring to Jake Lang as a white supremacist instead of condemning the guy that literally tried to throw a bomb at peaceful protesters, tells us everything we need to know about you and your uselessness.

What I find disgusting is the Mayor of NYC is condemning a person for engaging in his 1st Amendment rights and not condemning the people who engaged in an act of terrorism involving a bomb.

Why don’t you describe the religious and political ideology of the two suspects who allegedly tried using a bomb? “Allah Akbar” as they are arrested not clear enough for you?

Guy holds peaceful rally where the premise is that Muslims are incompatible with civilization
Muslims throw a bomb at him to prove him wrong

There was literally a terrorist attack outside your home and you lie about it. New Yorkers are massively screwed.
