Man opposing gender ideology in Canada assaulted by violent trans activists as cops look on

In Vancouver, Canada, where free speech is a far cry from the protected right it is in America, one man’s mission to confront the dangers of gender ideology left him bloodied and considering legal action against the “parody of a police force,” the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).

Video evidence wasn’t enough to move officers to action when Chris Elston, known by many as Billboard Chris, sought the aid of the VPD in addressing an alleged assault that took place at a Friday “Trans Day of Visibility” rally at a public park. Instead, Elston, independent journalist Dan Dicks and child protection advocate Pierre Barns were met with derisive smirks and snarky victim-blaming.

Through a series of videos posted to social media, the interactions with the alphabet activists were catalogued with Elston asserting the initial assault took place within seconds of his arrival when he had moved to aid Barnes who was alone among a group of aggressive rally goers.

Warning: Language

“Oh I love it! Peaceful Antifa! Look at all these brave people with their masks on,” Elston could be heard saying before addressing the fact that he had begun to bleed from a cut on his nose.

Adorned with his sign that read “Children Cannot Consent To Puberty Blockers” on one side, he called the police and according to his account, when they arrived on scene members of VPD remained in their vehicle until he approached them to explain what had transpired.

The officer suggested at one point that the cut could have been self-inflicted and after video of the altercation was shown to the authorities, they remained reluctant to investigate and maintained a dismissive attitude toward the behavior of the activists who proceeded to block Elston’s path when he attempted to go speak with them again.

Later, one of the rally-goers got directly in Elston’s face as Dicks was interviewing him about what had taken place thus far, and proceeded to shout profanities while waving pride flags before an effort to create distance was met with a strike to Elston’s throat as the same dismissive officer from before could be seen watching with her smile remaining.

Further interactions showed the members of the VPD seemingly only interested in taking down the information of Elston and Dicks and making every effort to not be recorded in conversation with the men leading to their being slammed as a “parody of a police force” for not seriously pursuing the assault claims and instead argued they had only come to the park “to incite violence.”

Elston concluded his series of posts be asserting, “I need to sue the VPD. I have to. The assault on our kids can’t continue, and the police enabling the anarchy and violence can’t continue either. What a surreal day. If you can help me, I greatly appreciate your support.”
