Marco Rubio DESTROYS reporter asking about new Kimberly Guilfoyle ‘bombshell’

Hot off delivering one of the best and most important speeches in American history, Secretary of State Marco Rubio shut down reporters who were more concerned about the latest “bombshell” involving U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle.

While preparing to leave Greece, Rubio schooled reporters asking about a new Wall St. Journal report alleging that Guilfoyle asked Trump donor Eric Deters to cover a $100,000 credit card bill in exchange for access to administration officials shortly before her confirmation hearing.

“Guys, I’m not playing this game with you, OK?” Rubio said after a reporter inquired about the report on the tarmac as he was prepared to leave Greece.

“You guys write a story, and then your editors tell you, ‘make sure you get a comment from him’ on something we haven’t seen. OK? You guys are not going to be our only source of information in the world. I’m sorry to tell you that. And so I want you to understand, no, that’s not the way the process is going to work.”

When the reporter pressed on how “the process” should work, Rubio let him have it.

“Well, first of all, the process doesn’t work like this. We don’t conduct these things at a press conference on a tarmac in a foreign country because you wrote a story or somebody else wrote a story, because some source gave it to you. So get that out of your head because that’s never the way it’s gonna work with me.

“You guys somehow walk around thinking that because some source told you something and you reported it. It’s the gospel. It’s not the gospel. It’s not the gospel for me. That’s not the way we do it.”

Rubio earned high accolades on X for his effective response to the reporters. He also earned resounding praise for the rousing speech he delivered in Greece just hours before, where he celebrated the innovation and achievements of the Western World and warned it was in peril.
