Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked in a restaurant by ‘insane women’

Given how polarized we have become as a nation and how acerbic our politics are in post-Obama America, it’s fair to wonder how this ripping of our very fabric eventually plays out.

Meanwhile, the demonization of a political party continues online and on national television, where Republicans are regularly referred to as fascists and Nazis for opposing the progressive left’s Marxist-inspired agenda — an agenda that seeks to undermine American society through the application of critical race theory and queer theory.

On that note, U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., took to Twitter Monday night to say she “was attacked” while sitting in a restaurant with her staff.

“I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by an insane women and screamed at by her adult son,” MTG tweeted. “They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views.”

“They are self righteous, insane, and completely out of control,” she continued. “I was sitting at my table, working with my staff, and never even noticed these people until they turned into demons. People used to respect others even if they had different views. But not anymore. Our country is gone.”

Greene has been a lightning rod since first being elected to office in 2020. Much like former President Donald Trump, she does not back down from the radical left elements that now dominate the Democratic Party, opting instead to take the fight to her political opponents.

Just last week, she initiated a firestorm online when she suggested that it was time for a “national divorce.”

“We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government,” Greene tweeted. “From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

She is also no stranger to threats because of her boldness. Earlier this month a New York man, Joseph F. Morelli, 51, pleaded guilty to leaving several threatening voicemail messages in March 2022 to Greene’s office in Washington, D.C., according to Fox News.

“I’m gonna have to take your life into my own hands … I’m gonna hurt you. Physically, I’m gonna harm you,” Morelli said in one of the messages.

Naturally, being that Greene is an outspoken Trump supporter, she was not about to get any sympathy from the intolerant left:

On the other hand, supporters were quick to show their appreciation for the sacrifices Greene makes in what the lawmaker sees as an effort to stand up for America:
