Billionaire Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took his temper tantrum over President Donald J. Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” to an entirely new level over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, announcing the formation of a new political party.
The former DOGE head has come completely unglued over the president’s signature legislation since his return to the private sector and his answer to getting his way with influencing the government has given birth to the America Party, the latest attempt to introduce another option to the political system other than the current Republican-Democrat duopoly.
After nearly two-thirds of those responding to a July 4 X poll agreed with Musk that it was time for another party, he officially announced its formation.

While it’s still in the cradle, Musk’s America Party is already drawing interest from some big names, including leftist billionaire NBA owner Mark Cuban, a former surrogate for failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
“I work with @voterchoice [Center for Competitive Democracy]. They will help you get on ballots. That is their mission,” the former “Shark Tank” host wrote in a Saturday post to X.

Also expressing interest in jumping onboard Musk’s political pirate ship is investor and anti-Trump gadfly Anthony “the Mooch” Scaramucci who has been sour at the president ever since his 2017 firing as White House communications director after only 10 days on the job.

Things have clearly changed regarding his feelings for Musk, who he made a cryptic and ominous warning to last year.
