Mark Kelly is taking on Hegseth’s testosterone plan—and conservatives are pushing back

Low-T Sen. Mark Kelly has come out against War Secretary Pete Hegseth’s plan to test the testosterone levels of male U.S. military members.

Hegseth, a high-T man who can bench press 315 pounds, recently approved annual testosterone screenings for male service members aged 30 and older. In issuing the order, he said that members who test low for testosterone will have the option to partake in testosterone replacement therapy, or TRT.

The decision sparked outrage from the low-T, misandrist left. Since Hegseth’s announcement, the propaganda press has been publishing hit piece after hit piece, bizarrely arguing that testosterone isn’t good for men.

Sen. Mark Kelly, a little man who likely can’t even bench 135 pounds, has since joined this wackadoodle chorus.

“The U.S. military does not need more testosterone; it needs better leadership,” he said Monday on MSNOW, a radically left-wing “news” network that would likely make even Chairman Mao blush.

“The president should fire Pete Hegseth,” the senator continued. “He’s making awful decisions, is putting service members at risks that I would not have expected when I served that a secretary of defense would make these sort of decisions, nor a president.”

He’s not alone in his gripes. On Monday, a group of leftist senators including Elizabeth Warren, Mazie Hirono, Ruben Gallego, Gary Peters, and Richard Blumenthal sent a letter to Hegseth complaining about his decision.

“The Department has provided no evidence that this sweeping new policy will improve force readiness or health, nor has it explained the scientific basis, costs, or risks associated with implementing it across the force,” the lawmakers wrote.

Apparently, to them it’s a mystery how treating military men for low T would improve their readiness. Remember that these leftists purport to be the “party of science.”

“[TRT] is associated with improvements in sexual desire, erectile function in hypogonadal men, lean muscle mass, strength, bone mineral density, insulin sensitivity, and anemia,” according to Grand Rounds in Urology (GRU). “Improvements in mood, energy, and quality of life are also reported.”

The gynocratic senators also hilariously enough claimed that focusing on helping men improve their testosterone levels would hurt women.

“[T]his initiative risks undermining years of work to ensure that women servicemembers are evaluated and valued based solely on their ability to perform the mission,” they wrote.

“While the Department rushes to institute automatic testosterone testing for men, the Military Health System remains inadequately prepared to meet the needs of servicewomen experiencing perimenopause and menopause,” they added.

As for Sen. Kelly, he has a habit of opposing anything and everything that this administration has attempted to do, including even killing drug smugglers:

Responding to the senator’s latest complaints about the administration, critics assailed him for being a “low-T pussy.”

“@SenMarkKelly is the poster boy for NOT enough testosterone,” one critic wrote on social media.

“@SenMarkKelly @CaptMarkKelly Pete @PeteHegseth is a trillion times better than you. Testosterone is something you know nothing about pussy,” another critic opined.

Others argued that testosterone is EXACTLY what the military needs:
