Two of former President Trump’s co-defendants in Georgia have surrendered at the Fulton County jail while Mark Meadows attempts to get his arrest blocked and Trump preps to turn himself in on Thursday.

Scott Hall, who is an Atlanta-based bail bondsman, and John Eastman, a former Trump attorney, were booked at the Fulton County Jail on Tuesday. Hall has been assigned a $10,000 bond for seven charges and Eastman accepted a $100,000 bond. Both men had mugshots taken that the Left is running with.

“Eastman, a former dean of Chapman University law school in Southern California, faces charges related to his advice to Trump on how the former president could overturn the 2020 election,” Fox News reported.

“Hall is accused of conspiring to unlawfully access voter data and ballot counting machines at the Coffee County Election office on Jan. 7, 2021. His seven charges include one count of violation of the Georgia RICO Act, two counts of conspiracy to commit election fraud, one count of conspiracy to defraud Georgia, and three felony counts related to his alleged actions in Coffee County,” the media outlet continued.

It boggles the minds of many conservatives that this is happening simply because the Trump team contested the election results in Georgia.

“He was the author of a memo that argued Trump could stay in power if then-Vice President Mike Pence refused to certify the 2020 Electoral College results during a joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021. Eastman proposed that several contested states, including Georgia, put in place a slate of ‘alternate’ electors who would claim that Trump had won their states based on unproven allegations of fraud,” Fox News noted.

“Eastman said in a statement provided by his lawyers that he was surrendering Tuesday ‘to an indictment that should never have been brought.’ He lambasted the indictment for targeting ‘attorneys for their zealous advocacy on behalf of their clients’ and said each of the 19 defendants was entitled to rely on the advice of lawyers and past legal precedent to challenge the election results,” the news outlet noted.

That happened as Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows asked a judge to block his arrest in Georgia, according to the Daily Mail.

Trump is set to surrender Thursday evening and Rudy Giuliani is flying in to Georgia as well on Wednesday. The former president has 18 co-defendants who are being required to report to jail for booking by noon Friday over the indictment concerning alleged election tampering in 2020. If they do not show, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis vowed to issue arrest warrants.

Meadows is attempting to get his trial moved from a Georgia court to a federal court. He filed a request on Tuesday asking that his booking be delayed. Meadows contends his actions took place while he was a federal employee so this is a federal matter, not a state one. Willis has denied Meadows’ plea to grant an extension of his arrest until after a Monday hearing.

“I am not granting any extensions,” she informed Meadows’s legal team. “I gave two weeks for people to surrender themselves to the court. Your client is no different than any other criminal defendant in this jurisdiction. The two weeks was a tremendous courtesy.”

Meadows is being slapped with two felony counts, including violating the Georgia Rico Act and solicitation of violation of oath from a public officer, according to Willis’ indictment.

Former Justice Department lawyer Jeffrey Clark and the former chair of the Georgia Republican Party, David Shafer are also seeking to have their cases moved to the federal district court in Atlanta.

Former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani called the indictment “an affront to American democracy” and said it “does permanent, irrevocable harm to our justice system.”

Giuliani, 79, has been swamped with legal bills as he has been heavily persecuted by the Left. The New York Times is reporting that he owes nearly $3 million in legal expenses.

On Monday night, Trump raged over the indictment.

Can you believe it?” he wrote on Truth Social. “I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney, Fani Willis, who is overseeing one of the greatest Murder and Violent Crime DISASTERS in American History. In my case, the trip to Atlanta is not for ‘Murder,’ but for making a PERFECT PHONE CALL!”

“She campaigned, and is continuing to campaign, and raise money on, this WITCH HUNT. This is in strict coordination with Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ. It is all about ELECTION INTERFERENCE!” Trump railed.

It appears that Willis is relishing mugshots for all 19 defendants and especially for Trump. Her antics will incense those on the right with over half the nation enraged at the brazen persecution of political opponents by the Left.

The timing of Trump’s booking is no accident. It will take place the day after the first Republican primary debate which he declined to attend.
