Mass school shooter in Canada reportedly a trans man in a dress

Yet another murder spree has reportedly been committed by what once again appears to be a disgruntled transgender lunatic.

The mass shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia (B.C.), Canada, where seven were killed, and at a nearby home, where two others were killed.

The shooter, meanwhile, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

What remains unclear is the shooter’s identity.

“In an emergency alert which went out to residents’ phones, authorities described the suspect as a brown-haired woman wearing a dress,” according to CNN.

However, Juno News has alleged that the shooter was in fact a man in a dress, or what’s more commonly known as a so-called “transgender man.”

“The individual alleged to be the shooter in the deadly attack at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia has been identified by a close family member as Jesse Strang,” according to the outlet.

“Juno News spoke directly with Russell G. Strang, Jesse Strang’s uncle, who confirmed Jesse was transgender and responsible for the shooting that left 10 people dead, including the suspect,” its reporting continued.

A YouTube account believed to have been owned by Strang prior to his apparent death reportedly features the transgender flag and references to “she/her” pronouns.

Video footage has also emerged of the alleged shooter, Jesse Strang, firing at targets at a gun range.

Despite this reporting, the mainstream press reportedly continues to refer to the shooter as a girl or woman.

The police, meanwhile, continue to say they have no idea what motivated the shooter.

“We are not in a place now to be able to understand why or what may have motivated this tragedy,” Ken Floyd of the B.C. Royal Canadian Mounted Police said, according to CNN.

“I think we will struggle to determine the ‘why,’ but we will try our best to determine what transpired,” he added.

If the shooter does indeed turn out to have been trans, it would not come as a shocker. In recent years, trans-related shootings have become a dime a dozen.

Recent cases of school shootings involving perpetrators identified as transgender include the March 2023 attack at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, where Audrey Hale killed three children and three adults before being fatally shot by police.

Another occurred in August 2025 at the Annunciation Catholic Church and school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Robin Westman, a 23-year-old man who had legally changed his name to reflect a female identity in 2020 and was described as transgender, killed two children and injured over a dozen others before taking his own life.
