The nation is just beginning to come to grips with how influential Charlie Kirk was before being assassinated in front of thousands of students while speaking at Utah Valley University as part of his “American Comeback” tour.
President Donald J. Trump announced his death on social media and said he will attend Kirk’s funeral. The president also said that he will award Kirk, posthumously, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Sadly, the monster who fatally shot the charismatic founder of the student activist group Turning Point USA is still at large. The FBI released an image of the suspect and has appealed to the public for help, offering a $100,000 reward for information. Until the killer is captured, influential conservative figures are not safe, and to that end, several people have kicked in to up the reward.
Alex Bruesewitz and Robby Starbuck add $25,000 each for information leading to the capture of Charlie Kirk’s assassin, prompting billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman to offer a staggering $1,000,000 more, bringing the total reward to $1,150,000.
I am in for $1,000,000.

Addressing concerns for Kirk’s family, Ackman committed $1 million more to an “endowment.”
“I am going to create a $1,000,000 ‘endowment’ for Charlie’s family. I will invest $1m for the family for free and will give them 5% of the principal each year so they have a growing stream of income for the future with the ability to tap the endowment for emergencies,” he posted on X.

There is also a video of the suspected gunman climbing down from the roof of a building at Utah Valley University, some 200 yards away from where Kirk sat when he was fatally shot in the neck, and disappearing into a wooded area:

Officials discovered a palm print and forearm imprints, and said that “a lot” of forensic evidence is being processed in federal and state laboratories.
“We are going to catch this person,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox said on Thursday. “We’ve been working with our attorneys, getting everything that we need… ready so that we can pursue the death penalty in this case.”
There have been at least two Give Send Go accounts set up to help Kirk’s grieving young wife and their two small children navigate the unimaginable loss. An account being pushed by Tucker Carlson, which was seeded with $1 million, has topped $2.4 million as of this writing, and another account has garnered more than $735,000.
