Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison was raked over the coals after a dishonest take about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harrison set off the frothing race-baiters in his party after pearl-clutching over comments made by Fox News host Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday. Having a meltdown over the “racism and misogyny,” the DNC chair melted down on social media as he claimed Kilmeade had used the word “colored” when discussing Harris and a planned speaking event.
In a “Fox & Friends” segment on Wednesday, the panel was weighing in on the decision by Harris to attend a previously scheduled event at the historically black Zeta Phi Beta sorority’s “Grand Boule” in Indianapolis. Harris, the now-presumptive Democrat nominee following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race, opted to focus on her campaign with an address at the sorority event instead of attending Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.

Harrison responded on X to a video clip posted of Kilmeade’s deserved criticism of Harris which sparked a flurry of reposts and outrage. The clip Harrison was reacting to was later deleted by the user who posted it.
“Eugene Daniels’ now deleted tweet completely misquoted and unnecessarily maligned Brian Kilmeade who clearly said college sorority,” Fox News pointed out in a statement.
Fox News, Brian Kilmeade, just referred to Kamala Harris’ sorority as a “colored sorority.” And a black commentator just sits there and says nothing. Fox is full of racists. https://t.co/bYZIw9QEOy

“’A COLORED sorority’ … in 2024 on national tv… this clown thought it was correct and appropriate to use the term ‘colored’ to describe a distinguished and historic African American sorority,” Harrison spewed, though Kilmeade had used the word “college.”
“But what is even worse… a Black man sat a few feet away on that couch and didn’t correct him. He was as quiet as a church mouse,” the DNC chair added, taking a jab at co-host Lawrence Jones.

Unfortunately for Harrison, Kilmeade said nothing of the sort and the DNC chair proved Democrats have their ears tuned to a specific racist frequency, hearing everything in racist terms.
Jones was having none of it and fired back in his own comment on X.
“I’m the black man. You’re so damn dishonest. He said ‘college,'” he wrote.
“But that’s all you have. You know the bulls–t that you advocate for only brings death, poverty, and destruction to our black communities. You are welcome on the show anytime to debate it,” Jones added. “Me and you.”

Harrison was deservedly raked over the coals for inciting hatred in making his claim.
He clearly said “college sorority”.

It’s very clear that bias is so deep that words sound differently when people on certain networks say it.
He said college. The annunciation for colored would sound completely different. You don’t even hear the “r”.
This is suggestive propaganda.

Kilmeade said “college.” Stop inventing false cases of racism in order to fit your narrative. It’s insulting to people who’ve been victims of real racism. It’s insulting to everyone. It’s insulting to yourself also.
All real racism should be condemned. REAL.

I hear “college” but let’s unpack the alternative for a moment.

@communitynotes This is a lie. He clearly said college sorority. Why are Democrats allowed to blatantly lie about these things in order to stir up hate and racial division?

This is all Democrats have now. Just low-IQ race hoaxes, all the way down.
