Meanwhile, at Biden’s White House… KJP singing and dancing to ‘Cosby Show’ spinoff theme

While President Biden may or may not have been coordinating with Iran to what limits the Persian Gulf country could attack Israel, the reunited cast of “A Different World” stopped by the White House last week to meet with Vice President Kamala Harris and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

And talk about bad optics, while tensions in the Middle East were about to ratchet up to World War Three levels, a video captured KJP singing and dancing as she led the cast of the popular “Cosby Show” spinoff in a sing-along of the show’s theme song.

Yet, Americans are regularly reminded that these are the adults in the room. The serious ones.

The show featured the character Denise Huxtable, played by Lisa Bonet for the first season, attending predominantly black Hillman College. It ran for six seasons between 1987 and 1993, and the cast — minus Bonet — is on a 10-city national tour of historically black colleges and universities and dropped in at the White House during a stop in Washington, hosted by Howard University, according to Deadline.

“Our mission goes beyond nostalgia. We’re on a quest to raise awareness and enrollment for HBCUs nationwide. By leveraging the star power and cultural impact of A Different World, we aim to inspire a new generation to choose HBCUs as their academic homes,” stated a website set up for the tour. “We’re not just telling a story; we’re rewriting the narrative.”

The tour seeks to help raise money for scholarship funds.

And while that may be a worthy cause, to see Jean-Pierre dancing around in the White House as Americans struggle to buy groceries and illegal immigrants continue to exploit a wide-open border to the tune of 10 million-plus since President Biden took office, not to mention the turmoil in the Middle East., well, it’s a bit much to swallow.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
