Despite the slow holiday week news cycle, the left-wing smear machine is humming along and the dirt diggers at ABC News unearthed a years-old German media report to attack the new GOP Speaker of the House and his daughter.
On Friday, the establishment outlet published a report about Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) and his then 13-year-old daughter Hannah attending a “purity ball” which it described as a “controversial” event as if encouraging abstinence from sex before marriage is abnormal.
“This looks like a wedding,” says a reporter in German. “But they are not bride and groom — but rather father and … daughter,” according to the 2015 n-tv news segment on the Christian-themed events.

According to the ABC News report, “The German news segment documented Johnson and his family preparing for and then attending a purity ball, a controversial formal dance event, popular among some conservative Christians, that gained notoriety in the early 2000s. At a typical event, fathers and their teenage daughters dress in formal ball attire for a night that involves dinner and dancing and culminates with the daughter signing a pledge to her father to abstain from dating and to remain sexually abstinent until marriage.”
Other leftists in the propaganda business boosted the ABC News report including one who conspiratorially suggested that there may be a nefarious reason for the old German report’s mysterious disappearance from the internet.

According to ABC News, which evidently did have access to the video, Johnson’s wife says, “We don’t talk to her about contraception. Sex before marriage is simply out of the question.”
The report sparked a strong reaction from users on the X platform, previously known as Twitter.
How horrible, huh? A family instilling in their child that their body/sexuality is very valuable. And yet, this is somehow a bad thing and needs, what, ridiculed? But parents irreversibly changing their little kids’ gender is to be loudly celebrated? How far you’ve fallen, ABC.

I don’t see why he’s being mocked for not wanting his daughter to be some used up whore by the age of eighteen.

It seems like had this been a father transgender party it would have been ok but because someone believes in a faith you attack with zero argument other than to throw shade I wonder if you do an article on young brides in the Muslim community as well, hypocrisy at its finest.

It underscores his belief in the tenets delivered to us by God. It’s a commitment to remain chaste until marriage. What’s the problem? How is this news? Rag tag news.

ABC News published a piece decrying Mike Johnson and his daughter for attending a purity ball.
ABC News did not publish a piece decrying the “twink” staffer who filmed himself having anal sex in the Capitol Building.

It speaks volumes that the outrage is being ginned up by the same people who are champions of the depraved sexualizing of young children, particularly when it comes to homosexuality and the indoctrination into the transgender lifestyle.
A devout Christian who has been viciously smeared as a bigot by Democrats and their media attack dogs, Speaker Johnson’s “worldview” is devoted to God in his work and his family.
“If you truly believe in the Bible’s commands, and you seek to follow those, it’s impossible to be a hateful person because the greatest command in the Bible is that you love God with everything you had, and you love your neighbor as yourself,” he said.
