Media coverage of the horrific terror attack on Israel in which over 1,300 civilians were slaughtered has shifted from being sympathetic to the Jewish nation to relentlessly pushing propaganda to shift the narrative in favor of Hamas.
It didn’t take long for the demonization campaign against Israel to roar into action with pro-Palestinian mobs taking to the streets in massive organized protests while social and legacy media are being flooded with imagery of bombed-out buildings and dead children in Gaza.
One outlet even reported that an ice cream truck was being used as a “makeshift morgue” as leftist efforts to swing public opinion against Israel intensified.

The ice cream truck “morgue” detail is a particularly effective piece of propaganda that will surely strike an emotional note with viewers of ABC’s “Good Morning America” who were served up a breakfast of carnage in a report from the frontlines by chief foreign correspondent Ian Pannell that got the attention of media watchdog NewsBusters.
“Gaza is awash with grief and despair,” Pannell told viewers. “This ice cream truck turned into a makeshift morgue. Palestinians lining up for whatever resources they can get as Israel has completely cut off food and electricity and limited water to the territory. Outside one bakery, desperation setting in. Hospitals are overwhelmed as the U.N. warns that the fuel that keeps those critical facilities open will soon run out.”
Tales about the ice cream truck “morgues” are also making the rounds on social media.
In Gaza, hospital morgue refrigerators can no longer accommodate the bodies. Owners of ice cream trucks have offered their vehicles to store the bodies that have nowhere else to go. How sad is that… #GazaGenocid #Gaza_under_attack pic.twitter.com/lyfbFBwUyy

The coverage from the two major networks is decidedly slanted against Israel with images of bombed-out buildings and Palestinian flag-waving mobs carrying bodies though the street with no real context of what the root cause of the military operation to clean the terrorists out of Gaza was.
“Israel’s thundering air strikes of Gaza continues to level entire neighborhoods,” Foreign correspondent Imtiaz Tyab reported during his coverage on “CBS Mornings,” adding, “while in the occupied West Bank, 55 Palestinians have been killed in the past week alone in clashes with Israeli troops during arrest raids and in attacks by Jewish settlers.”
“As Israel’s strikes only intensify, hospitals are at breaking point,” he said. “There are so many injured they have to be treated on the floor.”
“This exhausted doctor discovers his wife and children have been injured in an attack and later finds out one of his young sons didn’t survive. This man tries to soothe a bruised and battered baby by singing him a prayer. A little boy says his last goodbye to his mother,” biased reporting that will only poison viewer attitudes against Israel.
On NBC, chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel tugged at “Today” viewers’ heartstrings with his coverage from a Gaza orphanage.
“In Gaza, the humanitarian crisis is worsening. Around 600,000 Palestinians have followed Israel’s orders, according to the Israeli Army, to evacuate Northern Gaza which is expected to bear the brunt of an Israeli ground assault,” he reported. “But not everyone can leave like the 22 children at an orphanage in Gaza City our crew visited.”
“12 of the children here are disabled. They’re being cared for now by only two adults after the rest of the staff left for safer areas,” he said, stating that one child “is nine years old and blind and has profound disabilities. Maria is seven years old and can only scoot. These children can’t get out of the way of a coming ground war.”
The uptick in pro-Hamas propaganda comes as President Biden prepares to depart for a high-stakes visit to the region with his base demanding that Israel be reigned in.
