Megyn Kelly hires former Trump coms director Hope Hicks to help expand her media empire

Megyn Kelly is expanding her media empire and is hiring a former Trump ally to assist.

Hope Hicks is President Donald Trump’s former communications director and has previously worked at Fox Corp., but now her resume will boast a position as Devil May Care Media’s chief operating officer (COO). The company “encompasses [Kelly’s] popular podcast, YouTube show, and other verticals,” according to The Hill.

The podcast host made the partnership announcement on social media:

Hope Hicks is exactly the kind of woman I want running my company with me – strong, smart, strategic, and the embodiment of class and poise,” Kelly’s statement gushed.

Hicks has also signaled her excitement to become part of Kelly’s media legacy, saying the host has “used her talent, integrity, and unparalleled credibility to create content unlike anything else available today.”

The role will reportedly be “dedicated to the continued success of Kelly’s media company, with expansions in new lines of business and partnerships.”
