With just days to go before a pivotal presidential election, journalist Megyn Kelly believes there is still time for an “October surprise” to drop.
While it may no longer be October, the host of The Megyn Kelly Show predicted some kind of bombshell could still appear before the end of the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
“I don’t think we’ve gotten the October surprise yet,” Kelly told the Daily Mail in an interview this week.
“I bet we’re still going to get something big dropped on us by somebody,” she forecasted as she noted an “increasingly desperate” Harris campaign.
“They’re calling Trump a Nazi [and Joseph] Goebbels. They’re calling him a fascist, Mao, Stalin,” the former Fox News host added. “What would you do if you thought Hitler was about to get elected? It’s really kind of dangerous, frankly.”
Kelly, who has seen her share of wild political seasons as a journalist, will be hosting live election night coverage with a panel that will reportedly include The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro and the Daily Mail’s Maureen Callahan.
“It’s probably going to get uglier and wackier and weirder,” she said of the remaining days of the presidential campaigns. “There’s probably going to be a few more women coming out accusing Donald Trump of things because the Democrats love that old chestnut.”

Despite following all the latest on the race for the White House, she is not sure who the final tally will reveal as the winner.
“I’ve read everyone and everything. I, like you, am desperate to know. I can’t wait to know, but we can’t know,” she said.
“Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was going to win. The prediction there was like 93 percent, 98 percent,” Kelly added, recalling the 2016 election while noting that polls may be more accurate this time around.
“Are the polls still wrong about Donald Trump?” she wondered. “Are they still undercounting Trump voters? There’s a lot of reason to believe they’re not, that they actually have fixed it.”
“Trump got them to register [to vote] and he got them to vote. They’re all baked into the cake now, so the undercounted Trump vote is no longer a thing. This is a theory,” she said.
Kelly laid out the possible scenarios on election results coming in and knowing the winner within hours or days.
“I think there’s a good chance we might know on election night,” she said. “If it does come down to Pennsylvania, it’s going to be a long week.”

As the campaigning comes to a close and the focus turns to next Tuesday, Kelly offered Trump some advice.
“I would say no more surrogates, just you and JD [Vance], you started this campaign, you finish it together. Don’t use outside surrogates who don’t understand the mission or the voters,” she said. No more with the surrogates, no comics, no bombastic donors. It’s not worth it.”
Kelly also weighed in on the Harris campaign’s missteps in messaging, especially in reaching out to male voters.
“The country’s become anti-man,” she said. “The messaging around men has been absolutely disrespectful and dehumanizing for a long time now, and who’s doing it? The Democrat Party.”
“I don’t think anyone’s going to vote for Kamala because they’ve been shamed by Barack [Obama] about their alleged secret sexism or racism against her or shamed by Michelle [Obama] that it’s not standing up for your woman’s rights,” she added.
