Megyn Kelly’s latest response to a “scripted” former first lady “dripping in narcissism” found the commentator calling for her to “f*ck off.”

Despite elevation to the White House with a first-term senator who’d barely reached the U.S. Capitol before he began campaigning for a promotion, former First Lady Michelle Obama’s roughly two-decade-long time in the national spotlight has been filled with complaints. A recent “artificial” delivery lamenting a fashion focus found an “embarrassed” Kelly asserting, “You’re not aggrieved.”
Obama, who infamously expressed being proud of the United States for “the first time in [her] adult life” while on the campaign trail with then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama (D), recently debuted the latest installment of her “IMO: The Look” podcast filmed over Independence Day weekend at the Essence Festival.
During the conversation with Keke Palmer, the former first lady insisted that, Â “I was always a powerful orator,” but coverage of her always focused on her style. “It wouldn’t matter what I said … the article would start with what I had on.”
The suggestion set Kelly off as she began, “Oh my God, she is dripping in narcissism — dripping in it. Would you at least feign some humility? I’m embarrassed for you.”
“You’re actually not that great. You’re fine. But you seem very scripted and artificial to me, if I’m honest,” continued the commentator. “You don’t speak from the heart. You didn’t move me at all at the Democratic National Convention. You felt a little recycled and tired, if I’m being honest.”
Attempting a reality check, the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” went on, “Let me tell you something, Michelle. The reason they wrote about your fashion is because, yes, you’re a woman. It wasn’t to diminish you. They do it to every female politician, and it’s not to diminish them. It’s because it’s interesting. It’s part of your look. It’s part of your messaging. They would do it to men too, if men dressed differently from one another. But they don’t.”
Adding an exclamation point to her view, Kelly slammed, “So f*ck off with this grievance nonsense. You’re not aggrieved. It’s not — it doesn’t make anybody a misogynist.”
The latest rant against Obama, which further called out corporate media for perpetually fawning on her before, during and after the White House, comes months after the release of Obama’s book “The Look” — that focused on her style — found her claiming society doesn’t “allow black women to just walk around with their natural hair.”
To that, Kelly had reacted, “She acts like she was persecuted after being the first lady of the United States,” while pointing out, “virtually every woman I know spends a sh*t ton of time on her hair and wants it to look better than God made it. It’s not a black thing, it’s a human thing and especially a woman thing, but she’s always reducing everything to race.”
