There’s certainly no love lost between now-independent journalist Megyn Kelly and Meghan Markle, with Kelly blasting the Duchess of Sussex AGAIN on her podcast Tuesday for her pretentious attitude when it comes to talking about her husband Prince Harry.
Kelly was interviewing author Christopher Anderson, who has a new book coming out, “The King: The Life of Charles III,” and pointed out that when it comes to Harry and Meghan, there’s “no limit on their appetite for ripping on the Royals to whom they owe all of their fame and literally most of their fortune..”
Anderson weighed in to say that the couple is “immensely unpopular” in the UK, and remarked on once-popular Harry’s “fall from grace” as a result of the relationship — Kelly noted that Markle has a “less than 22% approval rating.”
The former Fox News host called Markle “a liar” for claiming she knew little about Harry being a member of the Royal Family early on, before commenting on how she addressed the prince on her latest podcast.
“Her guest mentions Harry and Megan replies, ‘Oh my husband, he’s great’ — talking about helping her get the kids ready in the morning,” Kelly said, “My producer Kelly says, ‘Is it just me or is it so annoying how she always refers to him as my husband.’ It’s not just you Kelly, it is all of us!”
“We get it. You bagged the gorilla,” she added, in reference to Markle wedding Prince Harry. “Congratulations! You got the big bear. You want us to know.”
In the podcast, Markle cast herself as the attentive housewife running a hectic home with two children, explaining their “chaotic” mornings where Harry gets everyone downstairs while she’s busy slaving over a hot stove.
“I make breakfast for all three of them,” she said. “It’s very important to me. I love doing it.”
Kelly and Anderson went on to discuss the infamous Oprah interview the Royal couple did, with Kelly stating that “instead of being grateful for the many gifts that they’ve received they decided to make a thing out of the Royal Family being racist” — her guest would offer some missing context to the claim that a family member raised concerns about how dark their son Archie’s skin would be.
