Former first lady Melania Trump stunned onlookers, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, during a lavish dinner Friday at Mar-a-Lago alongside her husband, former President Donald Trump.
Orbán was so smitten that he gave her a bouquet of flowers and also posted a video of her to his Instagram account with the caption, “Pretty woman.”

It was a rare appearance for Melania Trump, who according to reports has been noticeably absent amid her husband’s campaign for president.
“Melania has somewhat tried to keep out of the public eye since leaving the White House in January 2021,” according to the Daily Mirror. “She has not been seen at either her husband’s rallies or his court appearances.”
“[W]hile Melania has not been at the rallies or court appearances, she did accompany her husband last month to the Trumpettes gala, also held at the Palm Beach estate. She has been largely absent from her husband’s side for political events since November 2022, when she went with him as they cast their ballots at the Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach. She then went with him as he announced his 2024 campaign at Mar-a-Lago a week later,” the Mirror notes.

As for Orbán, he posted a number of Instagram Story videos to his Instagram showing him meeting with Trump, as well as his staff.
He also posted a bunch of pictures of stuff at Mar-a-Lago, including a framed Time Magazine cover about Trump.

His visit to Mar-a-Lago came a day after he spoke at the Heritage Foundation about Project 2025, an effort to devise a blueprint for former President Trump’s next term, assuming he wins in 2024.
“Supporting families, fighting illegal migration and standing up for the sovereignty of our nations. This is the common ground for cooperation between the conservative forces of Europe and the U.S.,’ Orbán wrote on X after his Heritage appearance.

Because of Orbán’s allegedly autocratic ways, his visit to Mar-a-Lago triggered loud complaints from President Joe Biden.
“You know who he’s meeting with today down in Mar-a-Lago? Orbán of Hungary, who’s stated flatly that he doesn’t think democracy works. He’s looking for dictatorship,” he said at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania.
“I see a future where we defend democracy, not diminish it,” he added.
FYI, dear leader has been “defending democracy” by jailing dissident journalists, prosecuting outspoken Christians, forcing vaccine mandates down millions of Americans’ throats, and more.

It appears Orbán and his administration are, for their part, fully supporting Trump going into the 2024 presidential race.
“If Donald Trump had been elected President of the United States in 2020, the war in Ukraine, now in its third year, would not have broken out and the conflict in the Middle East would have been resolved much faster,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó reportedly said Friday.
After Orbán visited Mar-a-Lago, he tweeted the following:
It was a pleasure to visit President @realDonaldTrump today. We need leaders in the world who are respected and can bring peace. He is one of them! Come back and bring us peace, Mr. President! pic.twitter.com/rbCYvygzNy

The tweet was well-received by Trump supporters.

A wish that we hope will come true soon, two presidents who want the interests of their people, but who try to create stability and peace, two concepts that the majority of Western politicians currently do not know
