Michael Moore walks back recent tough talk of surefire Kamala win: ‘Wait, didn’t you just…’

Leftist filmmaker Michael Moore warned this week that Vice President Kamala Harris may be on track to lose the 2024 presidential election.

Writing in a Substack post, Moore warned that the Biden-Harris administration’s tacit support of Israel could cost her Michigan and thus the presidential race unless things change fast.

The solution? For the Biden-Harris administration to stop granting military aid to Israel, demand an immediate cease-fire by Israel, and basically throw Israel under the bus.

“Vice President Harris: Your perceived silence and lack of action, your lack of a plan, your continued repetition of the party line — ‘We are close to a ceasefire!’ — as if it’s just around the corner when we all know (because we all know Bibi) that that is not going to happen — rings hollow, and it has cost you an active base of support in Michigan,” Moore wrote.

“Many are still going to vote for you, but that vote now lacks enthusiasm — and some supporters are not out there aggressively getting out the vote. They are dispirited, and they are demoralized by Trump barnstorming the state like a steamroller who, unlike our side, is not afraid to state clearly what he intends to do ‘on Day One,'” he added.

None of this points to us winning in Michigan. Maybe Michigan isn’t needed. Winning in North Carolina and/or Georgia may make up for losing Michigan. Then again, Madam Vice President, there are 71,000 registered Arab-American and Muslim voters in Georgia, a state you only won by 12,000 votes in 2020…,” he continued.

Ouch.

In response, critics bashed and mocked him, though it was hard to tell whether the critics were Democrats mad at him for chastising Harris or Republicans laughing at his last-minute desperation.

The crazy thing about Moore’s latest rant is that it comes only weeks after he proclaimed that Harris’ opponent in the 2024 race, former President Donald Trump, is toast.

“I honestly think we’re going to have one of our largest turnouts ever,” he told CNN. “I don’t think that many people are going to stay home. I certainly hope not because of everything that’s at stake. Democrats, they’re such a frightened group of people. I mean, they still think that Trump is going to win.”

“This is kind of shocking to me. Like, don’t you live with people? Are you not aware that there’s going to be a tsunami of women voting between now and Election Day? Anybody who thinks women are going to stay home, that women are going to stay home — Do you not know any women? Do you not live with a woman?” he added.

At the time, he also discounted polls showing Harris and Trump in a dead heat.

“I don’t think it’s a dead heat,” he said. “I don’t think people should be running their lives based on these polls.”

Hilariously, some leftists were left very confused this Wednesday about how it is that his outlook could change so quickly.
