Michelle Obama is ‘terrified’ about ‘what could possibly happen’ with the 2024 election. Here we go!

Former First Lady Michelle Obama said that she is “terrified” about “what could possibly” happen in the 2024 election, a contest in which the future of America as a free country is on the line.

In what seems to be a hint of the growing concern that deeply unpopular incumbent Joe Biden could lose to former President Donald J. Trump in November, Mrs. Obama expressed her concern over what voters will decide, admitting that it keeps her up at night.

The Democrat rock star’s remarks came during an interview on the latest edition of the “On Purpose” podcast which was released on Monday, a sign that all is not right in Obamaworld as polls continue to indicate that Biden’s days as the nation’s leader could be numbered.

Asked by host Jay Shetty what keeps her up at night, Barack Obama’s better half’s response seemed to indicate mounting dread that the transformational process put into place by her husband could be aborted before the country has been completely demolished and rebuilt to their liking.

“What are we doing about education? Are people going to vote? And, why aren’t people voting? Are we too stuck to our phones? I mean, these are the things that keep me up, because you don’t have control over them, and you wonder, where are people, where are we in this, where are our hearts? What’s going to happen in this next election?” Obama said.

“I am terrified about what could possibly happen. Because our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit. It affects us in ways that, sometimes I think people take it for granted. You know, the fact that people think that government — ‘eh, does it really even do anything?’ — And I’m like, oh my God, does government do everything for us, and we cannot take this democracy for granted,” she added. “And sometimes, I worry that we do. Those are the things that keep me up.”

While she didn’t mention Trump by name, it was clear that his potential return is what she fears.

“We can’t just say what the first thing that comes to our minds. That is not authenticity to me. That’s childish, and we see childish leadership right before us – what that looks like and how that feels, where somebody is just base, and vulgar and cynical in a leadership position,” the former FLOTUS said.

Last month, her husband made headlines for his remarks that his former veep could lose the election to Trump.

Citing “a person familiar with his thinking,” the Wall Street Journal reported that Obama “knows this is going to be a close race” and “feels that Democrats very well could lose” the 2024 election if the party sticks with Biden.

And since an interview with Mrs. Obama would not be complete without her injecting race into it, suggesting that a black man couldn’t be indicted multiple times and still be eligible for political office.

“Other people can be indicted a bunch of times and still run for office. Black men can’t. You just learn to be good. And in the end, you benefit from that extra resilience,” she said.

Frequently mentioned as a replacement for Biden if the party shoves him aside before the election. Mrs. Obama could be the only candidate who could lure black voters back onto the party’s plantation if she gets the call.
