Former first lady Michelle Obama’s latest take on the SCOTUS leak is a primer in slippery slope argumentation, showing exactly how rapidly the left has pivoted toward radical progressivism by publishing a post with the word “womxn.”
After Justice Samuel Alito’s draft majority opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was leaked, Democrats were quick to push forward with a crisis mentality that demanded an immediate emergency response. Behaving as though the overturning of Roe v. Wade would bring about the end of all abortions and ultimately reverse civil rights as we know it, calls rang out to pack the court and do away with the Senate’s filibuster to streamline legislative action.
Now, Obama is using an issue that was otherwise ignored during her husband’s administration to push to elect far-left candidates in the November midterms by promoting the lexicon of LGBTQ activists and attempting to mainstream their philosophies.
“State lawmakers will have the power to strip womxn of the right to make decisions about their bodies and their healthcare,” read the graphic from When We All Vote shared on Obama’s Instagram. The term is meant to be inclusive of members of the “trans” community.

The former first lady does not use the term herself in her caption, writing, “It’s been a tough couple of weeks since we saw the leaked SCOTUS draft opinion on abortion. If it comes to pass, we may soon live in a country where millions of women – not to mention our children and grandchildren – lose the right to make decisions about their bodies and their health. Even if we knew the courts were heading toward this day, it doesn’t make the frustration, grief, and fear any less real.”
Obama went on to write, “But we don’t have to stand idly by while others try to turn back the clock on progress. I’m so inspired by everyone out marching today. And I know that we’re going to see so many folks carrying this energy forward to the elections in November and in every election after that.”
Here she presented the modus operandi of the left in one easy-to-swallow dose. While Democrats do make plans, their inherent radical urges are most prevalent when they are reactionary.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) recently pointed out that Roe was not codified when President Barack Obama had control of the legislature because, “The fact is, in ’09, we really did not have a pro-choice Democratic Party.”
Now, the former president is acknowledging that this issue was left by the wayside to be used as a political tool when needed.

In a joint statement from the Obamas, they wrote, “We’re asking you to join with the activists who’ve been sounding the alarm on this issue for years – and act.”
That’s right. Now that it’s politically prudent, continue the push to the left for the sake of an election. And as they went about ignoring concerns over the potential overturning of Roe for years, so too will they facilitate the changing lexicon to gratify the activists without actually taking a position on it until it most benefits them.
However, reactions have not been so welcoming to Obama’s tangential use of the highly unfavorable term.
Just asking a practical question here, how does one pronounce "womxn?" https://t.co/rSaXWg2CYV
