Massachusetts middle school students who wanted nothing to do with “Rainbow Spirit Day” staged a patriotic protest in lieu of “pride” and may have found themselves on the fast track to re-education camp.
Activist faculty, parents and community members were incensed to learn that their idols had been smashed in the halls of Marshall Simonds Middle School (MSMS) in Burlington, Massachusetts after the Spectrum Club had reportedly organized a June 2 celebration.
Comprised of students and allies, read groomers, Boston.com reported that the group had decorated the halls of MSMS with signs that read, “Happy Pride Month” and “Why it’s not OK to say ‘That’s so gay,'” along with “rainbow streamers and Pride flag banners” and encouraged wearing rainbow clothes for the day.
Students opposed to the event reportedly wore red, white and blue attire and face paint instead, were said to have torn down banners, scattered stickers and chanted “U.S.A. are my pronouns” leading activists to throw fits.

Speaking at a town hall meeting over the incident, Nancy Bonassera, co-chair of the Burlington Equity Coalition referred to the behavior as “displays of intolerance and homophobia,” as the group called for the district to hire a diversity, inclusion and equity director.
Meanwhile, at least one parent suggested re-education, asking the school board, “Could you use this as a teachable moment to show the kids who counter-protested Pride that they can take responsibility for their actions and still become allies?”
An MSMS computer science teacher provided the only apparent evidence of the alleged protesters with what amounted to a handful of stickers on the floor which she described as “a snowstorm of rectangular flakes.”
“This is not how we show #PRIDEatMSMS To my LGBTQIA+, trans and ally Ss. I see you and I am here for you,” she added.

The supposedly tolerant left kept up their one-sided argument, denouncing the opinions of the kids opposed to having gender ideology shoved down their throats with principal Cari Purchase asserting in a letter how she was “extremely disheartened.”
“I fully respect that our diverse community has diverse opinions and beliefs. I also respect individuals’ rights to express their opinions through clothing choices and freedom of speech,” she noted. “When one individual or group of individuals’ beliefs and actions result in the demeaning of another individual or group, it is completely unacceptable.”
“I am truly sorry that a day meant for you to celebrate your identity turned into a day of intolerance. Schools are supposed to be a safe place for ALL students and faculty. Some community members’ actions created an unsafe environment for many of our students, caregivers, and faculty,” Purchase contended.
Burlington Public Schools Superintendent Eric Conti added his own statement in a letter to parents that asserted, “Like any spirit day celebration at MSMS, participation is optional. Respectful behavior across the entire student body, however, is non-negotiable.”
Speaking on behalf of those opposed to the “spirit day,” mom Christine Steiner told WCVB about one of the signs that had been posted that included a quote attributed to Tennessee Williams which read, “What is straight? A line can be straight, or a street, but the human heart, oh, no, it’s curved like a road through mountains.”
“My daughter just said, ‘You know, mom, that’s offensive to me, I am straight,'” Steiner explained. “Some of the kids threw stickers on the ground. But I can only speak for my daughter, she just didn’t want to wear that to school. It’s not that she wanted to hurt anybody’s feelings.”
The protest had also been described as relating to the school’s lack of honoring patriotic holidays such as Memorial Day.
Word of the protest in Massachusetts came after math students at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California had voiced their displeasure with having to watch a video that featured women kissing.
“I’m warning you guys now,” the teacher could be heard saying. “If you’re going to be inappropriate, I will have supervision down here. I will give all of you a Saturday school for next year. So knock it off.”

Though the “allies” in Massachusetts were distraught over the incident at the school, social media users lauded the movement against transgenderism that has continued to grow since the wildly successful boycott of Anheuser-Busch products.
The rainbow cult is falling apart.

If this isn’t telling you what is going on at schools, wake up because even the kids are getting sick of it. Leave the kids alone.
