Four illegal immigrants who were bused from Texas to New York City and who are reportedly tied to a South American thievery ring were arrested on January 9 after allegedly shoplifting $12,489 worth of merchandise from Macy’s in Long Island.

The migrants named in the theft are Wrallan Cabezas Meza, 19, Miguel Angel Rojas, 21, Rafael Rojas, 27, and Jose Garcia Escobar, 30. They are suspected of traveling from Manhattan to Nassau County on Long Island in order to rip off Macy’s in Garden City, New York. This follows other violent incidents that have occurred in New York City concerning illegal immigrants in hotels.

The gang of four was nabbed by the Nassau County Police Department in Long Island, New York while driving a 2006 BMW with fake license plates in Hampstead, New York. Police pulled the vehicle over for failing to use a turn signal. Detective Lt. Richard Lebrun told the New York Post that the man driving told the Spanish-speaking Nassau County detective that they were originally bused to New York from Texas.

It is unknown what merchandise the men stole but everything was evidently returned. The four illegal immigrants were charged with 3rd-degree grand larceny, Fox5 reported. Meza, who was driving the vehicle, was charged with multiple traffic violations.

The four men are allegedly tied to a South American thievery ring, according to Newsday.

On Jan. 10, the men showed up in court for an initial appearance and then were unbelievably released without bail according to the New York Post.

Meza reportedly crossed the border on July 4, 2022. The other three men came across in September. Both men named Rojas had been living rent-free at the Westin Hotel in Manhattan.

Breitbart reported that a whistleblower recently called out Mayor Eric Adams’ plan that gives lucrative city contracts to a number of hotels that are willing to house migrants arriving on buses.

The whistleblower also claims that illegal immigrants are fighting hotel staff, drinking all day, and having sex in public, among other things. Violence is also ratcheting up in the city as more of them are bused in.

During a press conference that was held on Monday, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman said that he is in agreement with the mayor “that we have a crisis at the border and it has now migrated across the United States to the New York City metropolitan area.”

“But I want to make it clear: Here in Nassau County, our police department is going to be vigilant in making sure that anybody who commits a crime is tracked down, caught, and arrested,” he asserted.

The flood of illegal immigrants into New York City has forced the city to open five Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers and use hotel rooms to house the people and it’s still not enough. The city has even tried to use cruise ships as temporary housing for the migrants.

Adams has called on federal and state lawmakers to help pay for the efforts to house illegal immigrants in New York which he says is costing the city millions of dollars. An estimated 40,000 illegal immigrants have reportedly found their way to New York City.

Mayor Eric Adams claims there is no longer any room for more migrants in the Big Apple.

He even went crawling to President Biden, begging him to create a federal program that would “fairly distribute” illegal immigration across the country so New York City could be relieved of the burden of accepting tens of thousands of migrants, according to Breitbart.
