House Speaker Mike Johnson said that he has worked over 18 hours per day due to President Donald Trump’s demanding work schedule.
He explained his hardcore workload while speaking to Fox Business host Stuart Varney, saying he “accepts the duty humbly,” and identifying himself as a “wartime Speaker.”
Watch:
Speaker Mike Johnson says President Trump works 21 hours a day.
This sounds like hyperbole but Trump works harder than any other POTUS in history.
He barely sleeps. That’s why he’s been able to accomplish so much and overwhelm the Democrats.

“Do you work 18 hours a day?” Varney asked.
“More, more,” Johnson responded. “And I have to because President Trump works 21 hours a day.”
“I see you on TV all the time, always surrounded by hostile media,” the host pointed out.
“No, look, we accept this duty humbly,” the speaker explained. “It’s an important time in American history.”
When asked if he was “enjoying” the work, Johnson admitted that it may not be the most “enjoyable” job, but it is very important.
“I’m a wartime speaker in a real sense. “It’s not the most enjoyable job in the world, but I do love what we’re doing. I love the team I work with. We have a unified Republican Party. If we didn’t, Stuart, we would not have delivered on all the things we have this year. There’s much more ahead of us, and this team is excited about it.”
“Just give us the tax cuts and the regulatory cuts,” Varney suggested.
“There’s more coming,” Johnson assured him.
Johnson has also said that he receives so many calls and messages in a day that he has no real way of keeping up, and he doesn’t know how urgent the communications he missed might be.
“I think literally 100,000 people have my cellphone number. The greatest challenge of my day is trying to keep up. Because I miss literally hundreds of calls and text messages in a day. The peril is, I don’t know how important it was, what I missed.”

So when is Congress going to START working? 11 months and still Trump’s main agenda plan still not passed…

Imagine if Johnson, Thune and the others worked even an hour a day.

He is doing a darn good job of it and loves this country.

I wish our politicians who represent us would start following Trumps work ethic.

Maybe Johnson and Thune could do something at least 2 hours a day
