Mob of eco-vandals target Walmart heiress’s $300M superyacht: ‘You consume others suffer’

A mob of eco-vandals targeted the superyacht belonging to an heir to the Walmart family fortune while it was docked at a marina in Ibiza, a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea, hosing it down with spray paint to make a political statement against climate change, the latest criminal act perpetrated by European activists who have been running amok with impunity.

On Sunday, the group of Vegan miscreants from the Futuro Vegetal (Vegetable Future) crept up on the 360-foot vessel belonging to Walton heir Nancy Walton Laurie carrying their fire extinguishers loaded with paint and opened up on the $315 million Kaos, defacing the stern with black and red paint in the organization’s latest publicity stunt.

After the dirty deed had been done, two of the young thugs proudly displayed a sign reading “You Consume Others Suffer” as workers onboard the superyacht broke out the hoses in an attempt to contain the damage.

Futuro Vegetal posted a statement to social media saying that “the only reason we continue to maintain an economic system that leads us to eco-social collapse is to sustain the privileges of this small privileged class.”

The vessel which had been docked in Ibiza for five days was reportedly scheduled to depart on Sunday and the crew was getting ready to set sail when the malicious act occurred.

Police said that two of the vandals were been arrested.

A crewmember from another yacht in the vicinity assessed the damage, telling the Daily Mail that it would likely cost the owner “millions” to clean up.

“If Kaos had left ten minutes earlier it would have been our yacht,” he said, adding that port security personnel “were useless.”

“They took ages to come and police didn’t even arrest them, they just took them in for questioning,” he added.

Nancy Walton Laurie, who owns the 4,523 ton vessel is worth an estimated $7.7 billion, she is the daughter of James ‘Bud’ Walton, the co-founder of the mega-retail chain.

“Kaos has four decks and can house 31 guests in 16 cabins as well as 45 crew members in 24 cabins. There are four VIP suites, while most of the standard suites come with en suite bathrooms,” according to the Daily Mail. “The largest deck hosts a swimming pool, a dining area and an aquarium, with other areas on the yacht boasting a large cinema, a sauna, a gym, full spa facilities including a steam room, as well as an indoor beach club.”

“We are a collective of civil disobedience and direct action that fights against the Climate Crisis by adopting a plant-based agri-food system,” Futuro Vegetal states on their website. “We don’t have time to keep trying the same tactics we’ve been using for years”

The young criminals revel in boasting about their destruction of property belonging to others, including a plane that was recently vandalized in a similar manner to Kaos.

“Faced with a consumerist, globalized and interdependent society that fails to manage natural resources and seeks its own benefit despite the consequences of the Climate Crisis, we propose to change the ethics of abundance, the way of producing and consuming, focusing on food security and land redistribution. The fight against the Climate Crisis has to be the number one priority,” the group states on its website.
