Representative Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., is in the doghouse yet again for a segment of her speech that many believe was reminiscent of Hillary Clinton.
Cheney, who was giving a speech at the “A Time for Choosing” event held by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, bashed former President Donald Trump as “a domestic threat we have never faced before.” But it’s not just Trump she had it out for evidently, her opinion is that pretty much all the men in power are terrible.
At least, that was her message to young women – because everyone knows young girls just adore watching political speeches and totally know what the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is.
“Let me also say this to the little girls and to the young women who are watching tonight – these days, for the most part, men are running the world and it is really not going that well,” she said, in a segment that sounded to many like it was written by Clinton herself.

Her remark was slammed as a “sexist trope” and a “stupid and lefty thing” for her to say by Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway.
Totally apart from her GirlPower work with Pelosi running roughshod over due process protections in Congress, this sexist trope is such a stupid and lefty thing for Liz Cheney to say. It’s Hillary Clinton-esque. https://t.co/9X5QIvW9EU

Once started, other critics of Cheney joined in on the dogpile:
To be fair, I might also hold that belief if my dad destabilized the Middle East was an architect of America’s worst foreign policy blunder

The comparison to Ms. Clinton is particularly apt. Both seem to have a particular fondness for waging war wherever the opportunity presents itself. Ms. Clinton, for example, thought it a wonderful idea to bomb Libya and for no particularly good reason, and to no good end.

Her dad played a big part of it.

What is a little girl? What is a woman?

She wants the lefties to change parties and vote for her in the primary. There will definitely be more pandering and flowery, emotionally manipulative speeches coming. The left loves being angry and being told they are oppressed by the patriarchy (or current thing)

She’s going to be replaced with a woman Republican in Wyoming; how will she spin that one?

Men? Which men? Be specific. If this was said about the opposite gender in such a generality, the screeching would be deafening.

Perhaps Cheney felt she had to make up for holding a conservative position when she celebrated the overturn of Roe v Wade last month?
