Democrats and their media minions will spin reality to fit their narrative, even at the cost of making themselves look like depraved jerks.
Take, for instance, leftist podcaster Jennifer Welch, who tried to take full advantage of highly offensive leaked text messages between Young Republicans. The Telegram messages joked about gas chambers, rape, and more, and were widely condemned by those on the right.
We are appalled by the vile and inexcusable language revealed in the Politico article published today. Such behavior is disgraceful, unbecoming of any Republican, and stands in direct opposition to the values our movement represents. Vice President JD Vance criticized the left’s selective uproar over the leaked messages, comparing it to media crickets over the candidate for Virginia AG Jay Jones’ leaked texts expressing a death wish for the children of a Republican.

There is no moral equivalence between calling for your political opponents children to die in their mother’s arms and college students in a group chat.

In response to Vance’s comment, Welch launched into an attack against the vice president and made some deeply twisted personal allegations.
“Here’s two things about JD Vance. Number one, he used to say Trump is America’s Hitler. So he has regressed,” Welch said on MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes”. “And then number two, he is married to a woman of Indian descent. He has mixed-race children. So to all of the MAGA voters out there, if this man will not defend his wife and will not defend his kids, do you think he gives a crap about you or anything to do with you?”
Disgusting commentary from Jennifer Welch on MSNBC.

Unbelievable. But, Welch blathered on.
“What I see with JD Vance and all of the people around Trump is the minute they capitulate to him, they give it just an inch, they completely morally collapse. Everybody that comes into his orbit becomes a worse person. Marco Rubio, JD Vance. I mean, I think Stephen Miller was probably born terrible, but he’s gotten worse, and that’s how low that bar was.”
“The moral rot on display that we see… this is intentional. They are flexing the authoritarian muscle, and they all have to make up for something because the strong man is frail, the strong man has cankles, he’s got bruises on his hands, he’s got dementia,” Welch said.
“So now his acolytes are coming out acting like big tough guys to try to keep the facade up because there are fissures all over the place in the MAGA movement right now.”
Welch was roundly accused of inadvertently showing her true colors:
It’s always funny to see how these pretend progressive upper middle class white women accidentally reveal their racism through performative “empathy”
The implication that JD Vance has a racial obligation to defend his wife because of comments made about unrelated people

What is she blabbering about?! This is not the 1930s. Mixed race children? Who talks like that anymore?

You know what’s weird. When you are in a mixed race marriage with mixed race kids,
You never ever even think about it. You don’t see race. You see your family. The only people who notice are racists.

It’s weird how liberal white women think anyone brown is illegal

WTF is she babbling about???? Of course JD Vance will, and does, defend his wife and kids. And it has nothing whatsoever to do with ethnicity. It’s LOVE! But maybe this woman has not experienced love.

Welch talks like a White supremist, It is gross and she has 0 understanding Maga or Vance.
Maga is every color, from all around the world with a common goal of Making America Great. Men and women.— Dirtroadphilosopher (@Dirtroadphil) October 16, 2025
